Hi PetraFx,I see you're in Portugal. A Portuguese friend of mine who is an IFA based in the UK tells me that as an IB he believes you need to be regulated by http://www.cmvm.pt/en. Would you be kind enough to comment on this please?

It'd be nice if this was sorted soon. NP if it's a major hassle.

I live outside the US so unless this is a competition just for people in the US you have no choice but to open an account with FXDD Malta.I'll be picking up my winnings in person. 😲I have a home in Malta which is where I'll be for the duration of the competition.

Lion Asset Management isn't regulated and does not need to be. We are closed to new clients except by recommendation from an existing client. And have been since 2006. That is unlikely to change. Ever. We also have a compliance procedure which means we only deal with HNW individuals.Lion Asset Management clients are fully aware that they invest in unregulated collective investment schemes that are not authorised or otherwise approved by the FSA and can not be marketed to the general public. Accordingly, http://whylose.com is directed only at recipients set out in the Financial Services and...

Please take a look at http://bit.ly/aA4DM2.That is the FXSalt Broker Review at MFB.FYI my first post there is below. I have made many more comments. IMO, apart from Steve, every other person posting in that thread has a financial connection with FXSalt. Other independent member's comments are welcome. Positive and negative.Make of it what you will but they are not listed with the UK FSA. Even if they are registered with the German FSA equivalent they would have a passport licensing them in the UK.An example of Alpari UK's listing and what I expected to find for Fxsalt UK is below:-http...

"People with integrity" do not break the laws of the country they operate in. It is a CRIMINAL offence in the UK to offer their services from a UK maildrop address if they are not regulated by the FSA. Conclusion - they have no integrity.I doubt they "know what they are doing". I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. If they did know it was illegal then readers can draw their own conclusion and in my opinion then they are simply part of the burgeoning criminal network associated with forex globally. Finally, apart from Steve, the only other person that has no financial ...

Please refer to my comments earlier and if you really don't get it then I'm afraid I cannot help. I believe I've made my points concerning FXSalt clearly. On another note you also have a relationship with FXSalt so why don't you point them to this thread so they can justify why they choose to operate illegally by soliciting financial services business from their UK maildrop address in Sunbury.

@Frank Fair comment. However, Lion Asset Management have not accepted new Managed Account clients since 2006 other than by an existing client introduction. And I can assure you that isn't about to change.@DMBFX Anyone that knows me from elsewhere knows that my opinion of the FSA is similar to yours. As a regulatory organisation they are not fit for purpose. However, that is not the point. The fact remains it is a criminal offence to offer their financial services through a UK office address unless they are licensed by the FSA. Or are passported in from another EU country.@Steve Are you rea...

It is a criminal offence to offer their financial services through a UK office address unless they are licensed by the FSA. Even if it is no more than a mail-drop.I doubt they're "regulated" by the SEC anyway. I'll take a look eventually. In a nutshell we have a company that is based in a country where they do not accept clients. They use mail-drops. They are soliciting financial services business through this mail-drop address in the UK which is illegal under UK law.The rest is smoke and mirrors. The fact that funds go to SCB. LMAO. Some of the biggest boiler room frauds have...

And as for Google Streetview, well, that backs up my impression that their UK address is a residential address. You can see their UK "Head Office" at http://bit....

Thanks for such a quick reply. There I was on my sofa and the notification you replied with your comment popped in to gmail which I was reading on the PS3 but I got up to go to the office and thank you via the computer. Now back to the sofa. Thanks again.

I hesitate to post this here for fear of ridicule but nevertheless I will. 🙄My PS3 is hooked up to my TV and I do a bit of browsing using the remote control from the comfort of my sofa. The ONLY site I can't get in to is here! 😭I get a screen saying you only support IE and FF. I can go no further. Nowhere. It's like Ex-Lax - it irritates the crap out of me. Incidentally, I'm typing this in Chrome and I also use Opera which works fine here also. 😱Any chance please of letting me in on the PS3 browser please? It's getting tiresome trundling off to my office...
