I gave up. I can miss the trend on it but there is easier pairs to trade now. gbp/aud is already in full steam down. it looks like safer pick to me.

Just got up to see floating unrealized profit bigger than my realized loss. It is regarding giving up from some "smart" dude. no signal to close any trade so far so I keep letting trades run.

James, have not you tired of G/U? This bastard has led me up and down few times by now. Frankly this time it looks like down. Definitely down especially with other correlations. I closed my long at loss but decided to better go with gbp/aud. looks better than g/u. although again, aud/usd looks bad.

closed gbp/usd -1% 100 pips loss. i am weary of gbp. will leave only 1 gbp trade. gbp/aud. more interested to see how eur/jpy and chf/jpy will keep moving. possibly if signal happens I would like to add some more. in that case first positions should be safe if this happens. so far it is still speculative trades for me.

added last e/u position at 1.2822 . excellent timing. The worth of the whole position is 4% and stop moved now total risk is less than 1%. all other pyramided positions are safe now. My floating profit is close to DD I have got. will not close it of course but looking if trends continue to lock enough to have DD covered in case of reversal.
I want only a safe 4% each month... Which EA?? Thank you

I wonder, what would happen if your account drops 5% in a month? from what you are saying you are looking for guaranteed results which is ridiculous in this business. I think you should be concerned with longer term profitability like quarterly/ annually rather than each month as you say.Basically you are looking EA or day trader that day trades. Day trader who can trade like this consistently won't do it for 20% monthly. They have better options. They are expensive guys and their average winners are larger than average losers whch is cornerstone of long term profitability and also importa...

added short gbp/aud. previous PA looked good for shorting and signal was earlier last week. just looked messy but looks better now. potential is good if trend continues down from this and support below. let's see. Pin bar from Friday that looked bullish but actually appeared as the last bulls' gasp at least for me so I am short. watching e/u as it is testing support too.

Where where??? 1.330? so far no indication that it is bouncing from 1.2800. Unless there is signal to the contrary I am short. At the moment it looks down to me as per my signals and also daily weekly charts points down. It is pretty risky to go against such strong weekly candle.

I have put a plan on my watch list and will be watching a couple more pairs to open trades and some pairs to add more if price emove sin my direction and PA allows for smaller risk. If price really is leaving south on Eur/Usd and eur/aud I would like to add one more position on each but to keep overall risk within 1% on each and move all to BE or better at first opportunity. GBP/NZD is catching my eye. it might be getting away form the range. eur/jpy and chf/jpy are still speculative trades but if they go and there is signals I will add more to existing trades. BTW, 4% monthly is absolutely spectacular performance.... it is 50-60% annually compounded. depends upon risk taken of course.

The only mistake I made this week was closing my original eur/aud and eur/nzd trades which were in profits. my my, those positions would be 300-400 pips in profit now, 6-7% total and as I have 2 more positions on each of these pairs it would be murderous thing. this is what prolonged ranging and seeing profits evaporate can do. Psychology. The rest trades I closed for small losses I did on purpose of signals to close. You actually can learn a bit form everyone but not at this place. It is practically dead. No trading discussions, nothing serious. This is a place to show how you trade not to discuss and learn.

I think trader must inform client that he earns from volume trading. I think t is no good for the client to have such fund manager. Profits should come from making money for clients alone.

I enter when I have a signal. this is what is happening is called whipsaw. get signal to open trade and then to close and sometimes I sense that price going straight for my stop so I close. if you check August I was doing same thing but that time range ended faster.

Sometimes I make mistakes like with cad based pairs, closed them. should have left running. but say many trades I closed they just would turn losers on my full stop. look at my gbp trades. been in profits but once price returned above trend lines which I used to enter additional trades I knew it was reversing which it did. channels. again down and up. have been half of my DD in unrealized profit. takes some balls not to take it while taking losses for weeks. i was once more than I had then in DD and still did not take those profits. On the other hand I think there might be some idea to have some kind of strategy which benefits form this as I have many times in profit ranging form 4% to 10% with trades then gone to BE or small losses and completely new trades taken.,However, as I am trend trading if I start changing this I will miss trends when they start. yeah, following plan can cause losses... look at me. i am following the plan 😇but at the end winners will come. if not to follow and change the plan constantly winners will never come.
