Ok, I assume you refer to https://www.mql5.com/en/signals/350685Not sure if they are the same account though. Match the monthly gains on each one: the mql5 system has higher profits, implying higher risk and hence higher DD. Not to mention mql5 system only started in October 2017.

The greater trading community would agree with you:- a floating profit is usually preferred over a floating loss;- an equity surplus is usually preferred over an equity deficit.Let's end the debate here. Thank you for pointing out the obvious. 😎

May I beg to differ?1. I do not see "profitability" on the list of criteria - though I do note the title of this thread "Show your profitable account here."2. I think I understand you now. I doubt he refers to a hard stop loss at 15% considering his qualifying statement "its DD instead of profit which counts in the end".Rather, he possibly has expectations that based upon the calculated average daily/weekly/monthly variances (+%/-%) of the pairs he trades he expects drawdown to never exceed 15%.But forecasts based upon past data is never certain and cannot predict Black Swan events:Scenario 1: No hard stop @ 15% + Black Swan = Potential account loss >100%Scenario 2: Hard stop loss @ 15% + Black Swan = Expected maximum account loss 1...

Perhaps you do not realise you need to have available margin beyond the margin your broker requires for your open positions?The reason is to reduce the risk of a margin call - where the broker will force-close your positions and you may lose your entire account.
