AUDUSD SHORT
USD
The US fucked up basically. The FEDS pumped a lot of money in the markets during covid ressecion which caused downward pressure on the USD. Right now they've come to a point where they have to cool down inflation before it gets out of control. This puts upwards pressure on the Dollar. This is visible across every asset class. Stocks are plummitting, coins are crashing and short term yields are sky rocketing.
AUD
Australia is also feeling the inflation but not as much as the US. RBA is also hiking. the AUD rate is getting affected by the cooling down of commodity prices and the slowdown of the chinese economy. This puts downward pressure on the aussie.
My expectation is that the US will end in a recession. Even though the RBA also is committing towards a hawkish policy, the differentials will get so skewed due to the aggressive hiking of the Feds that it doesn't matter which currency you use to buy USD. This is the equavelent of free money. Just get yourself some USD before it is to late.
This pair just has to drop. Volatility kicked in. Range got broken to the downside. When we reach the .70 I go and I will scale in big size when we drop down further.
