Yadda Yadda Yadda Blah Blah Blah. Your account's hidden, its not verified, your account... your history... blah blah blah. It doesn't matter if the account is verified or not. I am not looking to sell my system, I am merely putting my history out there for those to see. Secondly, I hide my active trades as since I am not a independent broker or advisor, posting your active trades out there and having someone take those trades can get you in trouble regardless of what the website says. If you are not aware of the CFTC rules, you should really read up on those. I am not going to lose my ...

Anyway. A drawdown of over 30% is ridiculous. Here is mine, its a bit premature and I am working on a couple months of history, but good results so far. I believe 17% DD. Twice a month I deposit and I shoot for low risk high reward opportunities. This is not a EA, it is manual trading.https://www.myfxbook.com/members/whicked/working/1483673

sigh... its easy to see the type of trading that is done on this account. Grid with Martingale. Takes one strong move to wipe out your account.

Good Luck to you on your arbitrage adventure. There are plenty of them out there. However, does it work is a better question.

you may just try to delete the account that is on there, and then redo the connection again. There may be some weird legacy caching issues.

When you updated the investor password, did you press the connect button (was it successful)?

more than likely either the broker is blocking the change to the investor password or the password that you are using to change the investor password is incorrect.

You can/should be able to change any of the passwords through MT4. You will need the account password in order to change the investor password. If you have to change the password (should be the password that you used to login to the account to trade). You can follow this tutorial to change the investor password through MT4.https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CCwQtwIwAQ&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DgnETk83KIUU&ei=RIgRVaz9EMz8yQTVsIKICQ&usg=AFQjCNENZXUWjifz9uKukdfB0YihZDZz4w&sig2=EyZ4...

What you can do is to setup an account on myfxbook that does the autoupdate feature and point it to your broker. All you have to do is select which server you are on.If it is having trouble, make sure your investor password is correct (or change it on MT4). As well, from time to time, myfxbook has the wrong IP address for the broker and will need to be updated before you can connect to the account through MYFXBook.

Hi martin,You actually don't need to have the EA to update your account on myfxbook. This is only if your broker is actually listed on the site that you can do the autoupdate feature of this webpage (which will automatically up date your account every 5 minutes to days if you want). However, for your particular issue, this would seem that there is a communication issue between the EA that you are trying to install and the mt4 platform. My experience with MT$ is that it can create two seperate folders on the system (one that seemingly looks like the directories that you would put indicators a...

Hello all,In a way I would like to discuss trading in a meaningful way here on this topic. People can ask questions, post comments, answer questions. However, I want to be blunt here. If a system or strategy is posted here, it will be scrutinized, examined and either agreed upon or put in the proverbial waste bin where it may belong. You have been warned. Don't post your 'holy grail' systems here. I for one will be looking over all these questions/systems/strategies and will lay it clearly and concisely if it will work. Again, you have been warned.Ultimately, if your system/strateg...

Now where I agree that when testing a technical based system it does require a substantial amount of time to optimize the data for the historical data. But, it can't truly predict the future. The greatest traders of all time in the markets used a combination of volume and technicals to amount massive earnings. They didn't rely solely on technicals. Even in their memoirs and biographies they mention that solely idolizing one is doomed to fail.Hope this helps. Sorry I misread the beginning of the thread. Didn't know you were asking for opinions on the article. It does have some shine ...

Hi Adrian,Technically speaking. This depends on the type of trader that you are. For swing/trend trading it may take longer for one to become a moderately successful trader. Now, that is not to say that there are some people that are gifted when it comes to trading, and hence it may take less time to become successful.Their is a going rate in the industry that you should have 5000+ hours under your belt before you can say that you are proficient. I disagree with this. It can take more or less time depending on the type of trader you are.Lets take for example, you are a technical trader, you use...
