Leverage has nothing to do with loss.Either you have trading plan which is profitable an dyou earn moneyOr you dont have any and you should not trade.If you have good trading plan you earn more money with leverage if you have poor trading plan you lose more money with leverage.Leverage itself does not determine profit or lossJust magnify it.
