FRWC - Fusion V - Alpari

Hi Shakerz, I am running the original and I have not upgraded to version 1.2, only because nobody has emailed me to tell me there is a new version and I really don't have time to run around checking if there are new versions of software. I mean can you imagine if nobody let you know there were new versions of software and you had to individually check every single piece of software on your pc every few days or so just to ensure it was still up to date? Are you running version 1.2? Are the default settings the same or have they restricted the number of trades that Hi Rider opens now?

Indeed, different people are getting different results. Interestingly sparkz is running on Alpari just like this account.Seems like this is a lottery EA. The arguments to refund this are stacking up by the hour.

Well I must say this robot does seem to have an equity curve to die for so far. I believe that was how the marketting blurb described it. Unfortunately it's the kind of dieing that involves being made homeless and starving to death on the streets.Still, early days! Mustn't get too cynical yet!I hope all owners of fusion are running their own forward tests and do so for 30 days or you may not get a refund. That is, I believe, what the money back guarantee stipulated.

Still not acceptable, everyone is sharp enough to send out emails when they want you to buy something!

Did people receive an email notifying them of the release of version 1.2?I don't appear to have received an email from them.

It would be really nice to be able to split out the charts to be able to see the individual performance of each currency in the same way that you can with magic numbers.

Hi Rider is scary I will agree. I think his placing in the FRWC could have gone one of two ways. Good or complete wipeout. I used to run a manual scalping strategy where I would place up to three trades in the same direction and that scared the hell out of me. Ten is just silly.

Hi Casper,If the EA can make 5-10% in the month with the risk I've set it for then it could be considered successful and I'll take it live.Hope this helps.Steve

If you set stealth mode to true then I can confirm that stop loss and trake profit will be sent a zero values.

Yes, it will trade GBP/JPY without the chart open.

Yes and yes. It's been coded as a multi currency EA. So within the code they have hard coded the currencies that each strategy relates to.I don't actually believe that you would need the Daily charts open for the LMD strategy either providing that all the currencies are in your market watch, but I could be wrong so don't try it at home folks!

Alpari told me they had no connection problems at all yesterday. Seems very strange to me and I'm glad someone else confirmed this issue.

I have been unhappy so far with the ability of the strategies to take profit at the right time, but this is often the case with EA's ( and often with manual trading! ). I guess the settings that it are provided with are the ones that optimised well.

I have use the custom analysis feature to split out the different strategies by magic number. You also need to use the MyFxBook EA rather than MT4 publisher in order to submit magic numbers.

Hi Bugboy are you using the default settings? Your Super Volcano looks as though it has traded very well so far.

You tell me why they are blocking it. It just happened again. FXCM kicked into life and raised some Hi Rider trades, Alpari disconnected from 14:13 to 14:31, the exact time that Hi Rider was trading. I'm sorry but this is more than coincidence. Are you trading Fusion live on Alpari then?Maybe they're testing the code that disconnects Fusion users on the demo server before putting it live. Maybe they are seeing if people notice. Who knows! All I know is that after day one, pretty much every time Hi Rider triggers Alpari disconnect. With regards to IamFx - I suggest you read the reviews on ...

Okay, it occurred to me that I'm running other Alpari demo accounts. So, I check the journal for those accounts and guess what? They didn't disconnect at the same time as the account running Fusion V 1a. Looks to me like they're filtering on magic number and dropping the connection for Fusion users. The plot thickens!
