It says on page 73, 95, 129, 236 and 254! Read it!Sorry I'm in a jocular mood today :)I run FGB on Alpari UK, default settings and I get pretty much the same as this account. Sometimes more sometimes less. I'd do an analysis for you but at the moment I'm writing a website.

In my opinion you should only risk a certain percentage of your equity per trade. As systems that win 99% of the time generally do so by having a poor risk:reward ratio then you don't win very much with each winning trade. If you can find a system that wins 99% of the time with a good risk:reward ration then you're a genius and deserve your money but I haven't seen a system like that to date.

"Might" and "if" don't bring any money to the bank, only action brings money to the bank.The facts are the facts FGB has turned $250 into $4500. If you can do similar then feel free to sell me a copy of your EA.

I can confirm that the trades on here pretty much match the trades I get with the Alpari account I started a few weeks ago. I would guess the opposite is likely, that people are manually closing their own FGB trades thinking that they know better where the markets are likely to go.

Hi, no I didn't make FGB. Wish I had.All I'm saying is that from time to time FGB will suffer drawdowns, as can be seen from it's trading record, but it always recovers. The problem occurs when the markets get choppy. Predicting when this will happen and working it into an EA is almost impossible. The EA has a ten year backtest history and a solid trading basis to believe the results of that backtest. I'm sure there are tweaks that can be made but overall I think it's average monthly return is phenomenal. You just have to be patient and after several years you will be prett...

If you think you're a good enough trader to time exits of FGB manually then you're probably better off trading manually. Personally I say leave it alone to do it's own thing.

Unfortunately given that shadowmt blogs in Japanese and is fairly open on his blog about what he is doing we can only assume he doesn't speak English very well as he's not answering on here. Just thought I'd report my findings so far on an Alpari account. I started a live micro account on 7th February and comparing like for like trades ( FGB seems to have missed taking three trades that mine took ) I'm about 30 pips ahead of where this Think Forex account is. I'm going to keep running this test for the rest of the month before deciding if Alpari is a viable alternative to Think. I'll report back on here with my findings. You're wasting your time running demos by the way. It's much better to run a micro live account to get an idea of how the EA performs live...

There are only a few trades on UsdChf and GbpUsd. From the mangled google translation of his website it appears he is reporting results of MDP. Given that MDP is very spread dependent I would guess it's a pro account as well.

I've been using Pepperstone since I gave Think Forex the boot last month. I've noticed that their platform disconnects a few times each day, generally for about 3-4 minutes. They say one of them is for End of Day - so that's fair enough, but the others?Anyone else seeing problems with them?
