Here is the complete version that will work on any demo account. I have not created the user guide to include the MACD as yet or a lite version.EURJPY seems to have the best results so far. Although it will profit on most pairs given a 5 year back test, it is the equity curve as shown above that I like to see before posting a set file. The set file that created the results above are included.Enjoy!

Clarification: I load the EA with model 0. Once 12:00 hits and new entry points are drawn, I change to model 1.

Hi Shawn, the ea is designed to draw entry points and begin the order sequence when loaded on a chart. If loaded with model 0, it will redraw and reset each time it is loaded on the same chart. If you plan to let the EA run all the time, load the EA on a fresh chart with model 0 to ensure all previous settings have been erased, then with the ea on the chart, go back into the settings and change the the model to 1. This setting will remember the entry points and order sequence so in the event of a reboot, reload, it will pickup where it left off.If model 0 is set and the EA is reloaded on a cha...

The EA should only have 1 open order per pair. Although if the EA was reloaded/rebooted during a trading sequence with Model 0 being used, it can reset it's history and open more than 1 trade if the conditions exist. From the user guide:If you are concerned about your trading platform losing power or rebooting during a critical time (like during a trading session), you should load the EA with model 0 to clear the memory, then go back into the settings and change Model to 1. This will lock the EA and it will keep track of itself. In the event of a reboot, it should reload with the previous s...

I am currently back testing different pairs and will be posting the results to my website and here as I complete them. That may be of help.

To date, I have tested different TP, SL and a few indicators to predict direction. So far, using the 1:1 risk/reward of the channel has shown the best results so far.

Of course. There is a psychological tendency against loss of any kind. I have yet to see an EA that wins 100% of the time. At least with FX Rogue Wave, there are 4 chances to recover. In back tests on the EURJPY pair, 4 losses in a row occurred 15 times in 5 years. So the odds are pretty good that most trade sequences will win in 1 of the 4 trades. Kind of like counting cards in Las Vegas, I wanted to put the odds in the player's favor against the house.

Using the above ratio of lot size to account balance should provide a return of .5% average per win with an overall risk of 4% on average. These numbers can vary with channel size.

Hi Askew!I am glad you profited! But, assuming you are on a standard account, 2.0 lot size is too high for tis EA with that account size. Had Rogue Wave needed to use the next orders in sequence, there would not have been enough funds to cover. On a standard account, you can calculate your initial lot size for order1 = .01 lots per $500 in account balance. On your $10,000 account, you would set order1 at 0.2 lot size. Then double the 3 order values in sequence based on that. That being said, your order sequence would be:OrderValue1 = 0.2Ordervalue2 = 0.4OrderValue3 = 0.8Ordervalue4 = 1.6Regardi...

I went ahead and manually closed the trade to show that once done, the EA turns off when profit is made. As long as order#1 is in profit, why not?

Model 0 will reset the entry points based on defined settings on the chart whenever loaded. MQL language is only so smart.

Once set to model 1, if it is in a trade sequence, it should remember the last condition and keep those settings intact.I say "should" because if the MT4 platform is off for too long, the market could move out of range of the settings. It would be like falling off your surfboard, the wave continues on. In those rare situations, just close the trade manually and wait or the next wave.

Model 1 is for long term as it will remember the last trade size and entry points in the event of a server / MT4 reboot. But, you will need to load the EA in model 0 first to erase the previous trade memory from the system, then once loaded, go back into the settings and change model to 1.

The EA is designed that once a trade is in place it should be left alone as it will remain open until a yellow take profit line is crossed or the SL set at the opposing channel is hit by market movement. If an order is closed manually IN PROFIT, it will stop trading and wait for the next start time. If closed in a loss it will want to recoup that loss by using the next order in sequence. But, I did not design it for manual closes in loss. If you close a losing trade, I would recommend removing the EA from the chart and reloading it at a later time.

http://www.myfxbook.com/files/ibthescottyb/Capture_JZ.JPGHere is the trade setup from this morning. As you can see, the price action has not crossed an entry point yet. So, no trades have been placed. I was working on the server at 8:00EST, so I set mine at 8:30EST. Time is how to automate trades at the same time every day. It can be used in other ways with your own indicators. See the videos above. Thanks!

At the prescribed time, entry points are set waiting for a market move. When the price action crosses an entry point, a trade will be initiated.
