The $7.99 a month is peanuts compared to the losses you can make. Of course you could sit there yourself and switch the robot on or off.The biggest loss on the account was caused by a weekend gap after the Spain intervention. Wallstreet could have avoided this by closing the trades on Friday let say 30 minutes before closing time. On Sunday night depending on the gap it could open the trade again.

The aim is to finish trading once I have met the 1% daily target. If succesful for a while I will trade this on an Alpari UK micro account.

Manual day scalping strategy. Using trend indicators, EMA crosses and MACD.

i don't understand the mentality of blowing up a cents account. You still throwing away $$$. And you still have not proven long term profitability. When DD hits a level of 30% and you have an account with 100K in it and no additional funds to back it up, would you still feel confident.I have seen 99% of all micro accounts been blown up due to excessive risk. Trade Micro accounts like your life is depending on it.

The rapid growth a noticed combined with the huge DD will let me to believe the system as it is now is on the path of self destruction. Grid systems are nasty for DD.

AUDNZD seems to be ranging much more per day 80-120 pips per day. This should help it close 2-4 trades day. The fact that it ranges this much makes it an interesting pair to add again. Although swap is high. I have activated it to trade besides the eurusd. Eurusd is now below 1.20 and seems to be stuck between the 1.18 and 1.20 level.

I am with commercialnetworkservices and have had 6 VPS systems running. Since they have moved to Hyper-V I have not had a reboot (6 months now). Memory space and processor space are allocated. Hyper-V is more reliable than a dedicated server as it can be run across multiple servers.Virtuozo is different and one user heavy user on the VPS can badly affect performance of others.

Have people scalped really big on this forum. I tried once a 12 lot on MT4 it is a nightmare, you do get slippage big time. As Metatrader is a dealing desk platform it can not do partial fills like a Currenex can. Eventually there is a limit to how much you can take with larger amounts of money.

I looked at published track record. Robot seem to have taken a bit too much risk.

If you trade small grids DD can quickly add up but so does the profit. I always size my lot sizes and gridsizes and try to find extremes in currency ranges where the risk of the grid running away is minimal.Due to volatility in euro i close much more trades than expected. I have traded GT-Shadow for more than 18 months on several accounts. Never had a blow out and had sometimes close loosing trades manually. Overall profit is about 80% per year.

Yes GT-Shadow works on any broker. Gridtraders are not realy bothered by market makers or ecn type brokers. The smaller the spread the more chance of closing the trade so that is what to look for but do this in combination of swap cost as well.
