Well boys and girls, Australia's interest rate decision of a cut might be the start of the momentum we need to have EURUSD break out and head south again.

I have actually made quite a bit of money on the gaps. The trick is not to hold very large positions over the weekend to mitigate risk. Last weekend with Greece I figured it would gap down and it did (50 pips). You just have to see what news might come out over the weekend and how things have been trading and take an educated guess on the way it will open and you can make a little bit.

So I am in a Buy Position and holding over the weekend for E/U. What does everyone else have for trades and/or think what direction it will go short term at the beginning of next week. Long term I see more bearish movement, but took a chance with some short term upward movement at the beginning of the week before news hits.

Made a little profit on the Buy, now back in the Sell, Strong US Employment data should drive it down.

With it breaking through 1.13100, I decided to buy and see how high it will go. Didn't seem to be able to break through 1.1255 at this time and with German data doing ok, it seems to be holding the downtrend in check.

I'm expecting that we hit 1.12 again before hitting 1.15 with the Fed and all today. What does everyone else expect?

Currently in a Sell Position, I think we will break through 1.11 and head below 1.10 in the next 24 hours.

Hopefully everyone made some profit today. Currently back in a Sell Position after closing out my positions with the small reversal of the downward trend. Greece news over the weekend I expect will cause it to move down further and possibly Gap down on Sunday.

Currently have a TP of 1.10800 and a Trailing Stop of 40 pips following this down, we shall see which hits first.I may close out some positions on the way down as well as my trade is larger than normal currently.

So possible correction in motion, but I am betting on it going to 1.12 or lower. It hasn't been able to break 1.13100 yet but it also hasn't broken 1.1375. Breaking past either one of those points could be signs of further movement in their respective directions. Long term, EURUSD should be heading further south to 1.10 and lower.

I have been trading with Forex.com (New York based) but I have recently opened up an account with Oanda (Canada based) and they have better spreads and I believe are better overall. Both accept US clients, I am a US citizen myself.

I ended up opening a new account with Oanda, they have better spreads than Forex for sure and overall seem more friendly and better. We will see how they compare in the long run. They even provide historical data which is nice. Will be moving all of my funds over as soon as I get out of some of my Short EURUSD positions.

Naturallycurly82, I use forex.com as well and I thought I was protected from a negative account balance. It seems I am not like I was under the belief of so if the balance becomes negative, I would actually owe money. Due to this new found information, I am heavily considering switching to Oanda due to them having a clause in their agreement (section 16 Maximum Losses) saying that you can not lose more than your account is worth. I suggest that everyone pass this information on and make a switch to a broker like Oanda that puts the customer's interests in front their own which is actual...

A Small Downward Gap of about 10 pips, not as much as I was expecting but still something. Holidays tomorrow in USA may make it trade a little slow, but I still believe we will have some downward movement. Also in the news -> Greece's Syriza expands leadhttp://www.fxstreet.com/news/forex-news/article.aspx?storyid=8b7723ac-5755-43f1-b504-29ae9376c13c

If they are like most brokers, then they should have to cover any losses that your account can't cover. I don't know what their agreement is with clients but that is how it is with Forex.com which is what I use. I definitely would not deposit any money. I would look into a different broker if I were you if you wish to start trading again.
