Hi VIP, yes the only upside of this robotic trading with low balamnce is probably the external investment it might attract, not sure how you would attract it on myfxbook though. I had thought about adding monthly 50% of my profit from the previous month to try and keep my interest level up or just to throw caution to the wind and deposit a small 5 figure balance.Harry

You need patience to trade a small account for years, I dont have that kind of patience but I suppose that's what these market makers / brokers are feeding off.

Well if my high risk style to build a good sized account fails, so be it! I can cope with losing a little but I CANT cope with trading a small account forever but at the same time wont risk investing a lot outright!Harry

Yeh in reality we would all like to be trading big accounts for just a couple of percent a month! The reality is not many of us are well funded enough or would want to risk that much so were trying to run small amounts in to fair sized ones.People make too much of how people are trading, drawdown etc on these small account balances, I only really pay attention to that on accounts which are of significant value.In reality someone trading a $250 account making 4% a month with 2% drawdown is only trading like that for the benefit of others on this forum. That just goes to show have tough it is!Best bet is to start your own account and manage it yourself, try and spin a small amount up to a reasonable amount - just my opinion. You only have yourself to blame if you blow the account up then!!!
