My applause to those daring competitors who makes 50-100-1000 lots size trades whileI would only dare to make 3.0 lot size trades.....BUT.......hehehe...I see some competitors are making 0.01 lot size trades (on a usd50k account???) which will most certainly not help to increase their trading account by very much.

Thank you for the offer @forex1o1.....but frankly, I would not know what to do with an EA 'cause I have never used one and I would rather trust my own analysis of them market :p.....

With the top leaders ahead with thousands of percentage gains and....hehehe...me being at over 2,300 position out of a field of 3,322 competitors, it will take heaven & earth to get me anywhere near to the top positions. My main purpose in this competition is to see how I rate among other traders and see how many I managed to beat at the end of the contest. By any standard, if my account is a "Live" one, I would be quite happy with around 13% gain so far in as many days :)But I do wish the host of this competition will look at how FXOpen set their competition rules & regulatio...

If you are referring to no. 7 top of the pack "srinatha", he/she has 7 opened positions ranging from 5.00-100.00 lot sizes with around usd246,753 profits....and all the positions are still left running with none closed.

Try typing the lot size you want on the "Volume" section.....e.g 100 or 1000 if you so wishes.

That contestant has made trades which have still not been closed out but equity reflected the profits he have on those still open trades.

myFXbook has been around for sometime now and has hosted many trading competitions and, as such, they should know how to create a more level playing field in competitions to make the event more pleasant, enjoyable, and give Newbies the chance to experience their trading skills being pitted against other more experience traders.

....and quite frankly, even if I somehow managed to win in this contest (FAT chance since the leaders are so far ahead already), I don't think I will open a "Live" account with this broker because they do encourage "crazy & reckless" trades which is definitely not what good, trusted, and responsible brokers will encourage.

Yes, agreed that there should be some rules to curb insane trading in Demo contest to give contestants a more level playing field such as:1) Limit the maximum lot size that can be made at any one time.....e.g 10 lot size2) Limit the maximum numbers of trades that can be opened at any one time .....e.g 10 opened positions with maximum 10 lot size each.3) Each opened trades cannot be closed for at least 3 minutes.Of course there are many more other rules which will give Traders, especially Newbies, a chance to see how they play out with more seasoned Traders. With no limitations, this contest is...

The organizer of Demo Contest should give a more level playing fielding to contestants by :1) Limiting the lot size of every trades....e.g 10 size lot2) Limiting the maximum numbers of trades allowed.....e.g 5 open positions....only below 5 open positions can additional trades can be made to max 5 open positions. For this contest, there simply are no restrictions and lot size trades made/opened are just crazy.

Well, still 14 days and 7 hours and 1 odd minute before end of competition....maybe there is still HOPE for me; yah?? : )

Hi Guys & Gals,Looks like USD/JPY "kaput" me out of the competition : ( I was concentrating on my Live accounts and didn't pay much attention to competition account and simply enter large trades blindly thinking I cannot lose. So bad money management and impatience "kaput" me.All the best to those still in the competition!

My sympathy, "oldlove", for dropping more than 30 places from top 3 position literally overnight.Yes, I know the feeling all too well, a couple bad trades and..."phoooof"....wiped out most hard earned profits.Competition is still young....Good luck to all, and don't take too many big risk;yah!😀

Yes, indeed, I seeeeeeeeeee...........3 carefully placed trades with 100, 200, & 500 lot size and last competition 3rd place winner is ahead by almost 1,000%. So, does this confirm what I said about "trading smart" instead of making over 1,000 trades and yet make smaller profits? I hope Newbies here realize that they have a usd100,000 account and, this being a competition and all where time is of the essence, you just don't make 0.01 lot size trades; yah!But then, don't try to emulate the competition leaders' trading style and simply go in blindly with 100 to 1,000 lo...
