Yep, that's what I think as well, that they just closed the trades manually from the master. If they had told me that, I wouldn't have had a problem staying with the copier service but their explanation "that it was a problem with my broker", just didn't make sense, so I quit using it.With regard to the EA, as much as I hate seeing trades that were in profit by as much as those ones yesterday were, turn around and become losing trades, backtesting the EA shows the exact same performance for yesterday. I started using the trade copier when it first came out on my ATC account. It seemed to work well at first and then one day it closed 3 trades much earlier than the trades in the demo account closed.....and I lost a lot of profit because of the early close. I wrote support and ask then what was going on and they ask me about the EA status on the chart and about my trade logs. I answered the status question, sent them my trade logs and they replied that it must be a problem with my broker and ask if I could switch to a different one. The long term performance is much better using the SL method of the basic version, so you don't need to upgrade for that. The advanced version does also provide the capability to optimize the volatility settings which is more useful. Anyhow, hang in there, this EA has lots of small losses but the big wins and low drawdown more than make up for the low winning percentage.

I haven't had any issues like that since updating to the latest revision the EA. The EA seems to keep working just fine if I close positions manually.

I had the same thing happen. I manually closed the trades in my two real accounts when I saw that the trade in this account was closed. However, I my demo account, I left the trade open and it finally closed out this morning about 3 hours ago (12 PM GMT) for an 81.3 pip gain. It’s nice to know that the EA would have eventually closed the trade itself.

It's unfortunate that this EA can't handle trades that go to SL on live accounts. It seems to work perfectly on demo accounts but not on live accounts. Guess I'm just going to have to stop using this until all of the execution problems are resolved. Really love the trading method but the SL issue just kills the usability of this EA.

Yes, but I already had multiple licenses before the recent changes. Initially I had them to run live accounts on my VPS and demo accounts on a spare laptop at home.

I noticed that this mornings trade didn't close out correctly on ATC. Seems like the FGB EA is still losing track of trades that go to SL on ATC.

fxgrowthbot, I think that you may have misinterpreted my comment. I probably didn’t state my thoughts as clearly as I should have. First off, I don’t really have a big issue with the new licensing arrangement. I’ve already purchased multiple licenses from you, so I’m good there. Also, I do appreciate that you’re making improvements to the EA and that you intend to allow multiple demo accounts. That’s all great stuff. Hey fxgrowthbot, one thing that would be nice from a licensing stand point is if you could say, run the FGB EA on a VPS and then also be able to run backtesting on a home computer using the same MT4 account and the same FGB license. I know there are other EA’s that can operate that way but it doesn't appear that it's possible with the FGB EA.
