I don't pay any commission ,just overnight positions and spread ,I even get dividends on some stocks .plus a useful screening tool .

On Forex most traders should be able to gain 1% per day min ,I trade FX up till US open or London close ,trade when vol is high.

Oops that should be 5 months and 4 days , I'll share at the 6 month period somehow ,even though myfx doesn't support Plus500 platform for statistical analysis.I'm looking at another platform BDSwiss that might work on here but their margins are higher than my current provider.

Wins and losses usually clump together, One large loss effects your emotional state a lot more, which can lead to revenge trading, traders tend to hold losses a lot longer than winning trades which is opposite of what professionals do, it takes time to form the right habits over time it's all practice and sticking to your plan.

If your adjusting your stop your entry point was probably wrong to begin with and no real strength behind the move which you can normally see within the first 10 mins of a move ,one has to refine entry points on signals otherwise a trailing stop is recommended if you miss the initial move 20% trailing stop seems to have the best returns for Stocks ,fX depending on the pair and its Vol.

It's possible to use a range 0.75 to 2% on most trades with eur/usd and eur/Gbp having lots of small losses doesn't really matter if your method is to let a trade run on longer time frame, everyone has a different method and has to find what there comfortable with.

I always try to set my stop loss at 0.75%- 2% max of the account size ,if that's not possible at the time I wait for the next signal ,that's the great thing about Forex lots of opportunities ,you can apply this most successfully on extreme moves outside the normal movement of the trend ,BB indicator for example is useful for spotting these moves ,other patterns like breakout moves after long consolidation are a bit more tricky because it's normally a fast move with a -60% re test of the full candle then a bounce higher.If I miss the initial move I wait for the re test to prove the ...

I opened an account years ago on pepperstone using their bonus and made 200 from their 20 ,before I started working in Finance10 to 1000 is almost impossible 100 to 1000 is possible.

Those quiet months in FX pairs is when Traders switch across to other securities that are performing better ,it's profitable if you can trade where money is parked for that time period ,you can set up price alerts for charts to help with scanning opportunities.Overbought/oversold refers more to the Stock market where a Stock has an intrinsic value.Be careful using indicators as most are lagging.

It's possible if you find the right trades and got a reasonable starting point.It's going to have to be another asset apart from FX unless there is some major news event like Brexit or unpegging Crash type events can be golden opportunity.
