Thank for that info Alexander! That gives me a bit more confidence with this system. I am now trying some test runs on the different cores (1,2,and3). It seems that they take different trades. I know in the manual it says that if a person wants to use all the cores they should place the EA on separate charts. Does this mean that the different cores trigger trades at different times? The reason i ask is due to the mt4 trade context limitation of one function at any given time. I would rather have 3 installs of mt4 dedicated to running each core separately if there is any possibility that they m...

Also, I know this is something most experienced traders will consider a novelty, but the voice action is pretty cool. Very useful for a new trader. All they gotta do is throw it on a chart and the EA will tell them if they have done something wrong and what to do to correct the problem. 😎

I agree, this was only a test run with tick data from dukascopy. Since I don't know the inner workings of the EA, I stayed on the safe side and rendered the data for 1m, 5m, 15m, 30m, and 1hr for the 11-30-2010 thru 12-05-2011 period. If it happens to specifically call different timeframes, the data will be available to the tester. Anyway....my results turned up an avg win of $6.74, avg loss of $2.74. Using fixed 0.1 lot, so that gives a pseudo look into the pip win avg. Biggest loss was $5.90, and the biggest win was $59. The win rate is 53.62%. So.....if you get slipped on a trade for a ...

My stats aren't public on any of my systems, so i could care less about them being displayed correctly. I know what is going on in my accounts, so it has no effect on me.

Alright.....I figured someone was going to have to test it. Here is my analysis so far...using tick data from dukas.MDP on steroids. I am seeing orders opened, many modifications, and close out in less than a second. This will require the ultimate in speed for a broker. Slippage in ANY amount will murder you profit. DO NOT use this on an ECN account. You will require MM speed of order execution. I am seeing lots of positions closed out at breakeven, or plus a few tenths of a pip....so when I say slippage will kill it, i am serious. Every now and then it will catch a big win. Only run an EA during the next 3 weeks if you want to lose money. TEA.....if you already have open orders, let it ride. It may drawdown pretty heavy, but you have a good chance of getting out without a loss if you leave it alone. If there are no open positions....it wouldn't hurt to shut it down until next year.

Yeah, I gotta agree with SmoothHedge. A real account would be a lot more believable. Things always work better on a demo account. Things that will fail horribly on a real account.

Can you please show the trade history instead of hiding it? I would like to be able to see that this system will work in a real account by seeing that the trades aren't happening during news events where slippage will kill a trade in a live account.

Considerng the way TEA works, closing out trades for any reason is the only way to give yourself a 100% guaranteed loss. If it was my account, I would reduce risk but leave the current trades running....unless......the recovery trades will be at the new reduced risk. In which case you are stuck at the current risk level until the EA manages to get flat in the market on said pair. That may require the restricting of that pair to non-hedging. As far as closing out....depends on if you believe you have the available account equity so survive the potential DD. They have not adequately explained th...

Nicely laid out tradingshed! BTW, if anyone cares, I agree with tradingshed's analysis. Today was a big fight. Sideways, up, down, up, down a little, up some more, way back down again, up a little, down a little....and now sideways....BUT...it looks as though we may end slightly higher on the close which lends some support to further upside. I wouldn't expect much beyond about 1.3250, but you never know! 😀Keep you trade size small so if you need to try and recover, you have plenty of equity to do so. Make sure you have a trade plan for BOTH directions!

I hate to continue seeming negative....but, better to be prepared. First.....never get hopeful. That is an emotion and will ruin your decision making skills.now that's out of the way......There are 3 major support levels that we have a likelihood of bouncing off of for the EURUSD. 1.2869, 1.2639, and 1.2442. You could expect some serious resistance, BUT we are hitting the last half of December. Volume will shrink and that means potentially bigger market moves.
