I am just following EAs that seem to profit. So far, both are profitable and I am happy for both vendors. To say which one is more risky is a matter of opinion because of my previously related concern of the huge recovery position. Because no one can convince the other, we just have to be patient and let the time be the judge.Best,Jim

Hi, cipher03,I follow the vendor's setting instruction. If anything, the setting I use is more conservative than the vendor's account because of my account leverage of 1:50. Maybe the reason the return difference between my account and the vendor account is due to the fact that weekly I withdraw profit above the initial balance of $5000 while the vendor just keeps his profit in the account.Do you know of some EAs that really work?Best,Jim

Hi, Mark,When comparing, maybe we need to compare apples to apples. It is a fact that your account started earlier than mine, something we could not change. To compare your Dec'17 gain of $1000 based on a balance of $524714.41 against my Dec'17 gain of $160 based on a balance of $5010.35 is not comparing apples against apples, but comparing your Dec'17 monthly gain of 0.18% to my Dec'17 monthly gain of 2.98% is. Dear Forex Community,Did you notice that on 12/04/17 I added $5000 to the account? Why? Because on that morning I noticed this Oanda $5000 initial balance account with positions totaling .60lot open already has margin increased to $1857 and margin level decreased to 264%. You are right, Bob.Just now I saw that under your profit of $2032.27, there is the interest of -$201.25. So even though I did not see swap interest, plus or minus, added, somehow it was taken into consideration. Many thanks, Bob,I am still puzzled:1. When I saw your demo history, I did not see swap interest, plus or minus, added. How could it be considered?2. Now with FXCM in US, they also use commission with narrower spread. How could the total profit include the commission?3. Yes, I did test the downloadable version, but at that time I was testing the SafetySetting levels. My result was that only level 1 is safe for me. I don't mind making lower annual percentage profit but I can't afford account crash. Other levels seem to reach crash in backtesting.Thanks.Jim
