The monthly Charts looks pretty obvious. Its like gathering power to break the bottoms. But who knows I think the NFP numbers would show the direction and the trend would develop from there.

Too much pressure already it looks quite bearish now. If The daily pivot didn’t hold as I don’t see much buying pressure it might further go down. Lets see what happens with the US Open.

You did good mlawson71 that clearing for the months end put a lot of pressure so early. Didn’t expected it though it looks quite bearish now.

There will be a lot of playing around to finish the monthly candle on Wednesday but I see it as the correction side up on monthly basis going to around 1.07 first. There would be a lot of power or some impact needed to break the triple bottom in December. It’s the Feds meeting that could make it possible but not before that.

Yes seems like it, waiting for the American Session to start as they were on holiday Thursday and Friday. Waiting for a pullback in the EURUSD so I can buy. Buy Limits already set around the 1.06 area maybe will move em up depending on the situation.

Martingale is a time bomb. You can try as many experts but its just a matter of time to blow your account. Just avoid them it would save you a lot of time and money trust me. Cheers

Ok guys metaquotes stops developing the MT4 , but that doesn’t mean it would stop supporting it, these are 2 different things. They will try to make the bridge to the MT5 but they would not ditch the MT4 just like that. The last update is 1010 there is nothing more to update, they have to move forward. The MT4 is already 10 Year old software which has been perfected all these years and it would be still used for the years to come and it will be supported, but I understand the developers point of view. They need to move on.

Great topic everyone and good read I must say 😄 This game is rough. Choosing a broker is one of the most important homeworks to be be done at first. Putting your money in a brokers is already a risk and you are exposed even if no open positions are held. IF a broker goes bust you be the first to lose. The broker has to be big , reputable and regulated. There are too many small scammer brokers. The Black swans are getting even more because of the electronic trading and when they happen , if your broker is not prepared they can easily go broke and you have to say goodbye to your money.

Hi , sorry I was busy around the election votes. To be honest I have tested a few a long time ago but they were messing my trading style and were not that much profitable as I wanted them to be. About the connection I am not pretty sure but I think was through the MT4 Signal panel but to be on the sure side I would suggest you open a demo account with one of the supported brokers and follow the steps to connect the signal. Or maybe someone of the more experienced guys here could help you on that topic. Cheers

The NFP before the Elections sounds good to me there will be a lot of speculation on this one. But to be honest I am more excited about the December one. This one is the whole year jaw droping bomb that I am waiting to trade :)

There is one more thing though which is a kind of a paradox. If let’s say a pro trader shares his trades and how to trade and we all start opening the same positions the more we get the more profit we earn. In theory this should even move the price more in our direction as we fuel it up , but in reality this is not the case. This is one of the reasons why pro traders stay hidden as they work for big companies and move big volumes in this zero sum game where the ones who hold the big money hold the big profits and we the retail traders are the small fishes with the big dreams where the mo...

Dude I want to see that one too. Basically winning traders are very few and they don’t bother doing webinars or videos how to trade. This is mostly done by not winning ones or just making a few pips here and there and there is not much you can learn from them except the basics. Something other though is , that finding a good mentor is always good. I’be watchin this thread just like you maybe some goodhearted money manager would start sharing his trading methods with us so we can take a piece of the pie too.

Hi Tony I just saw your charts especially the last ones. Just an advice from my side , you are using way too much indicators and trend lines, the pure candles and price action is not getting seen and it will start to confuse you sooner or later. You should use lesser trend lines. Hope you see and understand my point someday . trading is hard anyway don’t make it even harder. Cheers

Fully agree with Woody12 , if you want to blow your account just go for those martingale advisors. It’s the easiest way actually. You just lose your time hoping it wont happen to you. Been there done that.
Do you prefer fixed spreads or dynamic spreads?

trading with fixed spread could save you during big spikes and is a bit better for news trading, but with fixed spread you pay a lot more in the mark up as with dynamic spread. If you accept the risks of the market and the dynamic srpeads you are paying less for your trading volume. Paying 1.5 Pip fixed Spread for 1 lot is more expensive than lets say paying 8 EUR Commission with dynamic 0.2 Pips spread . The difference is 5 EUR for each 1 lot traded.
