I see Forex as a "Math". If you apply the formulas correctly & combine it with risk management = you will solve the task properly. If you solve the task properly = it will generate excellent results :)

I think, a broker which provides fixed spreads is 100% Market maker with dealing desk. I do not trust such brokers, because they wins from traders losses :)

I am also fan of DMA/STP interbank core spreads providing brokers. I understand that the spreads can not be 100% fixed, so it is better to be floating but interbank core :)

Just to add few cents here: Trading212 - UK registered company (behind the name Bulgarian owners and other name Trader.bg) - pure MM with bad fills :)IG - Much better then Trading 212 in terms of fills and price stability of the flow. Years ago I have stopped using IG services due to a bug in their L2Dealer platform - not sure if they are keeps offering now. FXTM - no need to comment - Vontogr explained why :)As per my opinion I could define as trusty regulated brokers with stable price flow and execution: JFD Brokers, IC Markets, Ducas, Tickmill :)

Stop loss is important - the re is no doubt, but what is also very important here to place the stop on correct place. :)

EURUSD - Bouncing from 1.1647 resistance and hammer with inside bar confirmation on 15M - a good time for scalp from the short side with tight stop and target around 1.1590 :)

I have notice the following fact with social trading: During the peak performance the number of the investors sharply increases, while during the lets say drawdown period, the investors unsubscribed. That said, the investors themselves cut additionally the performance of the strategies. :)Bottom line - even just by following other's strategies, the investor need to have some education or same knowledge to review strategy analysis and to take right decision :)

I believe the Team of the ForexMart did not understand correctly :)ESMA restriction should become in force 2 months after publishing in Official Journal of the EU, but as far as I know ESMA still did not proceed with publishing. :)

Then what would be the reason those good forex brokers to disallow scalping - if they are not market makers or their infrastructure is not well equipped? The market makers would prohibit any trading strategy that takes out money from their pocket. That would mean those brokers either will not be able to cover (hedge) scalping flow with their Prime Brokers or the Prime Brokers itself define that flow as toxic and request to disable scalping account or if it FIX API connected to cut the connectivity. In either case I believe those forex brokers cannot be defined as good! :)

Brokers does not allowing scalping means either a market makers or their software is not suitable for that purposes. In both cases would be good to stay aside from them :)
hedge forex positions with no loss

My opinion is supporting the idea that hedging from the point of the retail trader does not make any sense. Perhaps the misleading of the hedging come out from the how MT4 has been build, but on the real market exist just net based position/exposure.

Demo may show the picture of the flow, spreads, charges etc. for example, but the demo cannot show you something very important - execution, depth of market and top of book. This could be tested in real environment only.
