Oanda doesn't have PAMM option. Alpari is the biggest PAMM, I think. IC Markets has a good MAM option and cTrader Copy option.

I had a conversation with some broker people - they say it's unlikely leverages would go up in the UK ;( .... and this is easy to understand as small leverages require bigger deposits, they lead to smaller profits for good traders etc. win-win-win situation for brokers and regs...

you must care about your trading size in Lots/Units first! Leverage is secondary.

... what I've done wrong? - I thought my post was in support of yours - silly me! I was describing the situation with PAMM here (outside of the US).... and cT Copy service - both are not available in your country, thus it was difficult for you to comment on them... NOBODY ARGUES AGAINST A PROPERLY DONE REGULATION.... Happy New Year!

you looks at PAMMs from a US res point of view... In the rest of the world a PAMM manager doesn't need certificates etc legally :( They and members sign T&Cs and vuala! (A MAM man from the other hand does need certs etc)... Despite of lack of proper legs we have good a PAMM structure f.e. Alpari Global... runs for 20 years or so... I personally prefer cT's Copy service (sadly not available in the US) - also based on simple T&Cs and much more flexible for investors...

Although, in general, it's absolutely correct - there are a differences between the US and the rest of the world in therms of running financial services. In f.e. Europe, in a particular case of PAMM, a manager does not need to have any licences/certifications etc but MAM manager does need (from not so far ago)... Funny that PAMM are not used in the USA (am I wrong?)... Also, to open a small private (hedge) fond is relatively easy in the USA and very difficult in Europe.

I have an an easy solution for you guys: deposit $2M and then do your 20 losing trades all the way down to $1M. You can even buy an expensive holy grail martin EA for that, live it overnight, go to bed and... in the morning you are a 1-millionaire... 😂

Yes, it's profitable! like in any human activity trading is governed by 20/80 rule (Pareto rule), meaning for those who try 20% are in profit (successful) and 80% are not in profit (Nasrul)... This could be seen from the stats fx brokers are obliged (in the EU) to publish on their sites - some 75-85% lose money... You task, Nasrul, as a trader to be in those 20%... or hire a pro / copy good signals etc

The best is to find a broker that implements firmwide hedging of OTC positions (globally) as company policy. There are not so many such brokers 😎

that's the problem for ALL the exchanges unfortunately - not only them. Keep your coins in your Ledger - rule N1. Some exchanges literally "steel" your money without being hacked, like it was when Bitcoin Cash split...

A professional trader is the one who has a financial services licence or legal opinion in the operating jurisdiction. Having a licence doesn't mean he or she was/is/will be a successful trader... But having it you can call yourself or be called a pro - without it you are an amateur even if you have millions in profits from trading... This is the answer from a legal point of view. Full stop.

Well said! I don't care whether I am first or last cos in the end as vtorg said the amount of $ in your wallet is the king... But to get to a good level one need to learn, and learning from the best is the best.... Nobody laughs at W Buffett for holding Coca-Cola for 73 years 😂, the Renaissance Tech hedge fund is also admired: huge 1-2 pip leveraged trades... we have to learn from them.
