Thank you all for your support. I had been away from this forum for a while and was reworking on my strategies for a high leverage accounts like the one that I lost earlier. And I am glad to know that I am getting back on track with recovering losses :)2014 has begun on a positive note and I would be hoping for earliest recovery of funds lost in above mentioned account 😄.

@vijayinvites India buys anywhere between 8-10 Bn $$ worth of oil every month. This is single most import of a commodity purchased by India from overseas. No amount of trading can reach this large scale. So this is not the reasoning behind govt. for not giving access to retail forex trading.They want to promote their own Forex Exchange Trading and would try to divert traders to use their platform.

I guess it won't be legal for a long time in India as the Indian govt. doesn't get any tax benefits from the profits made by the traders.Its more of a political game currently.Use moneybooker to deposit / withdraw funds. Or trade with others who are outside of india.

I posted this question a while back and I found the answers too. So I thought to post it back here so it could help other members too.Open an account with moneybookers / skrill (FYI Liberty Reserve is shut down by US govt. based on fraudulent activity).Fund it with your Debit Card as the funds can be withdraw-ed to the same card. (Visa or Mastercard)I currently use HotForex and I have also heard good reviews about Instaforex PAMM accounts.RBI has issued a guideline for not trading forex in overseas market. However, their system isn't secure yet. (Word of caution, play safe)

Why do we have a 20 page on a debate like this ?? The original poster itself replied twice after posting this question. Theoretically it is possible to make such gains but that involves trading high leverages / scalping / big volatility / and tons of other parameters.And it is suicidal to trade on high margins and bigger leverages. We can simply end this debate by not arguing on who can do it and how can he do it. yes, I see the same !! This is really strange. This is a new account and equity is 5k itself, I don't know how this 100k came into the system. It should be a glitch somewhere in the system. Let me try to unlink and link the account back to see if it gets resolved if not I will write to the myfxbook support team.

fxtraq might not be connecting with myfxbook database currently. Thus we are not able to access the data from app.Hope this gets resolved sometimes soon. I greatly support this app.

I have been using Oanda's FxTrade Java Application for over 5 years now and I would say that it is one of the very good trading tools available.I am sure Oanda does have a huge advantage due to the fact that they offer this trading tool.I have suggested tons of people to open their accounts with Oanda due to ease of use for the newbies to learn and adapt to forex market using this application.One major difference here is that a trader can actually buy any number of units instead of standard lots.

Being new to trading I would recommend you to open to accounts1. Real - 300$2. Demo - 300$Work on demo account and tryout different basic techniques such as reading candlestick patterns, trendlines, fibonacci etc.Once you feel comfortable about a trade, execute it on demo first and then on real account. Try to put smaller trades and gain small pips in earlier stages as it is a smaller amount and you do not want to blow it up all.I hope this is helpful to you.

This theory has worked well for stock markets worldwide where a certain company's stock have been taken for a ride by major players and then set to free fall.As the volume is low, this can work. But in forex market it is highly impossible to do such things. Also, banks and other larger institutions don't use the leverages like retail traders do so it is not possible for a major market move impact by any larger institution as well.
