They list companies or they don't, if they don't they're not an exchange. It's a broker. Simple as that. And if they start off by misrepresenting themselves then I have an issue with that.

You've missed most of what I said Steve. You're on another planet at the moment as far as FX goes. These 3 crash tests shows that. In fact I'll take it a step further. If you lose 10% of $100, you have $90, if you gain 10% on $90 you have $99, so the more you lose the more difficult it is to trade it back. By the time you take a 50% loss you have to make 100% to get it back. So take your trade sizes, combine that with the principle above and you'll find most likely in 10 losses you won't be able to trade back. Are you really out of the next 50 trades not going to get 10 losses? At the moment you're not even making days. And you're blaming it on your mind when in fact it's purely trade sizes that...

Your DD wasn't 10%, market conditions at the time gave you 10%, but the next day it was -90%. Clearly there is more risk here than you think. And as per your question. On a 0.01 lot you are are putting down depending on pair lets say euro on a mini, 0.01 x 10 000 x exchange rate (1.27) = $127 (that's the dollar value of your trade), so the smallest trade you can do is already the same as your account size. So 0.2 would be 0.2 x 10 000 x 1.27 = $ 2 540Take a quick look at the account value. $200.You're doing trades roughly 10 times your actual account value at 0.2 lots... a $2 500 t...

The trades themselves are irrelevant. The only thing that counts is what's happening to your NAV. If I do 90% in three days I'd poop in my pants. Means the portfolio is hopelessly over exposed and over leveraged, it stands no chance of making it. Zip, zero. None. Doesn't matter what else you do or what your reasoning for doing it is. That kind of risk on the table is not sustainable.

The speed of the change in your NAV reflects the risk you have on the table, which is the function of the lot size, with or without time. You can argue it anyway you want to, you will not get anywhere till you drop your trade sizes. Trade sizes are THE deciding factor in your fx. You get that wrong your win/loses means nothing. Drop the trades sizes. Told you already. 90% in three days? That level of risk taking is not sustainable. Profits come in streaks. Nice to see a winning streak, but it leaves very little space for a losing streak. Will take you out of the market no matter what you do. Worry more about trade sizes than direction and things will go a lot better.

You need to drop your trade sizes. Read some Von Tharp stuff. No ways these accounts can work no matter what's going on in your mind.
