It's not about the money, it's about freedom. Money means nothing, not having it means a hell of a lot. Means you sell your time to the highest bidder, trying to get money. And time is everything. Ask Steve Jobs, not all the money in the world could buy him another second.So what do I want? Go to the beach, play with me boy. Chill out in a tikki hut...just not give a shit. Wake up in the morning, have coffee go surf and not worry about finances ever again. I can not think of anything more meaningless than money to be honest.

It's from Metaquotes. It should work really well technically, but I'm sure it won't make money. Is that the complaint?

Wont for long. Any system this broken will fail. I think Spain is going to be the trigger. That and the failed harvests this year. Next year we have no ATM's, and no food. Runaway inflation. Stage is perfectly set for hyper-inflationary depression. Think the Muslims are angry now? Wait till they figure out America couldn't grow food this year and that's why they going to starve. Cause the people they throwing with rocks normally sell them food. Oh joy...!

That said I don't believe the trading super stars trade like that anymore. It's all HF stuff. Small repetitive profits at extreme volumes.

Whatever it was, it didn't work. I'd most likely punch out as well after the third insolvency. Point being, the problem with being a hero is that they're normally dead. Most medals are awarded post posthumous.If you end up in the thick of things and it's down to the wire, sure, then say bugger it, and the kids get the medal. Trading though, is about the next day. It's about staying in the game. And Jesse Livemore didn't stay in the game. He bailed. He couldn't face the next day.

We live in a different time, a time where it is possible for you to be at the beach while your machine mercilessly milks cents second by second from the market gyrations in minute trades that doesn't really carry any risk. Not really necessary to take big risks these days to earn the big bucks. In the old days the work load would have been impossible, these days not so....not even breaking a sweat.

My point is really the blip caused by that event is no different to the blip caused by any other event and for the most part is of no consequence. I stop trading on wide spreads because of costs issues, but other than that I pretty much ignore news events of any type, unless it's about a big insolvent bank. Now those I listen to...!!

It's clearly a scam. Can see from the website. Web marketer designed that site and no one with a $250k account is going to sell EA's for $300 a pop. Just to much hassle. Bit like Asia's nr 1 mentor Mr Chew who belongs to every web marketing site in the world just about....

Yes you can't, if you're trading pairs against each other you're creating synthetic pairs, which in turn will have a single data series. Which of course you can then go set against another synthetic data series. The possibilities are endless aren't they? Can save yourself half the spread by just trading the actual pair you're creating. And I've been a MT jockey for decades myself, much to my irritation. I just don't see someone with a large account selling Ea's. Period. Especially not with a purpose built web marketing site like that. Doesn't help to pull th...

Ya I can trade. API none the less. Not a MT jockey. So which bit I said about the statarb was wrong? You need to trade pairs to do it. Fx is a pair already! Pips of course mean nothing. You should know that.I don't buy a word you're saying. I think you're a web marketer. And my posts are derogatory as I mostly go after the most obvious con's, half of which was two guys called Bruce and Zero under different id's. And you do realise you can't do a Statarb using two pairs as you are in fact creating a synthetic pair?EurUsd vs GbpUsd is in fact EurGpb and so forth. To do what you're claiming you are doing you'd have to trade baskets against each other. Not pairs. Say a Eur basket vs a Usd basket which is tadaaaaaa...EurUsd.Capiche....?!
