So sad...so it´s just another "Hope & Pray EA", which sooner or later will bring you in big DD-trouble...although there is probably a floating, hidden SL, a fixed (emergency-) SL is absolute necessary to calculate the risk ...or am I wrong ?

How high is the SL setting of GBPUSD ?The DD is > - 200 pips actually...is this "normal" or due to a malfunction of the EA ??

In MT4 you can force any EA to trade "long & short" or "only long" or "only short" in the general properties...but I think you know this already ;-)

Something is very strange to me here...EURNZD droped more or less 600 pips in less than 1 minute ???Look at the closed trades of the manager "HariOm".Is there a manipulation going on ?EURNZD was not even near 1.6567 on 2014-05-23 ... last time it reached that high was in February !!!Am I missing something ???http://www.myfxbook.com/files/ralle/HariOm.jpg

Backtest depend on broker and datafeed...as you already know...my 3-year BT on AAAFx (ok - not the best broker) look like :9/69/1.7_____0.10 lots_____1421 DDDEFAULT_____0.10 lots_____1290 DDSo not a BIG difference there.To avoid a margin call, risk only max. 2 % per trade.If we set a SL=50 pips and have 1000 USD equity, one single trade should only burn 2% of 1000 = 20 USD.If we have a mini account starting with 0.01 lot (1 pip = 10 cent) we can trade therefore with 0.04 lots (1 pip = 40 cent)50pip SL x 0.04lots = 20 USDEven if many SL happen in a row...your account is not in danger ;-))

Actually I only tried to catch the trends earlier with 9,69,1.7 and I don´t use Swiss Army for trailing, because FGB trails good enough...I use Swiss Army only to set a safety SL to 50 pips in order to be double sure, that my account is save.

As far as I know...testing is possible with one EA only...I´ve never heared of something else.I think, if you set "ManualTradeControll=true" then FGB enters a trade and does nothing else...so then it´s up to you to manage the trade...the main advantage of Swiss Army is, that it is possible to trail in negative...so you can try out this in forward demo:"TrailOnlyProfit"=false" with "StopLoss=500" (50 for 4-digit-brokers) and "TrailingStop=300" (30 for 4-digit brokers).Then FGB has enough space to breathe and you can catch big trends witho...

If an EA needs hedging or martingale, then the trading-logic sucks...the entries of FGB are a bit late sometimes - but they are good - they catches the trend mostly. It´s not easy to find settings, witch catch the trend earlier. As I mentioned before, I use 9,69,1.7 actually.
