Thanks Steve, my % gain is nice but such performance will not last forever and what is worse my results are not stable. I would rather have 2% a month stable results then have hundreds % of unstable results. I wish I could learn to trade like Patience, she plays with very low leverage, her results are stable and %won is unbelievable.I see she trades mostly my favorite pair (AUD/JPY). But I trade it long term, she does it short term and gains on average around 6 pips. I've started to watch this pair closer on small timeframes since I found Patience's results. Maybe some day I will find ...

Stephanus, you would had lost your best bet. I have couple sub-accounts but I am active only on two of them. Probably this will not be enough for you but I will try. Currensee.com scans all Oanda's sub-accounts so you can go there and watch my profile (my name is Grzegorz Gruszka). You will see that only two accounts there are active. Swap is very small and in my favor.Result of my hedge is short position in GBP/PLN - that means I have to pay for borrowing GBP and I receive interests for deposit in PLN. GBP interest rate is lower then PLN interest rate, as a result swap is positive to my account.

Hi Doshur,I want to hedge, because I want to secure value of my portfolio in domestic currency (which is PLN). If I wasn't hedged and GBP/PLN falls 20% then value of my portfolio in domestic currency (PLN) would have droped 20% too. I don't want that, this is the reason I hedge. If Oanda starts offering PLN accounts I will not have to hedge anymore. Does it answer your question?regards,kurak

gbptrades,Those trades (and all other open positions on GBP/USD and USD/PLN) are for hedging purposes only. I hedge my deposits and profits in my domestic currency. My account currency is GBP while domestic currency is PLN. As there is no GBP/PLN available at Oanda I use GBP/USD and USD/PLN.regards,kurak

Forexnetworth,If we are talking about AUD/JPY I don't determine the trend actually, I rather look for bottoms and tops using S/R but mostly hunch and Fibonacci. Fibo levels works great on this pair on daily charts, I am amazed how accurately it marks highs and lows.If we are talking about GBP/JPY I play usually short moves (40 - 50pips). I use daily timeframe to determine daily ATR, and timeframe from 15m to 3h to trade. I play aggressively such scenario: let say that daily ATR is around 200 pips, market moved already around 250-300, no major news and we are reaching some Supp or Ress - I...

Hi again,So, I set a "custom start date" and now my DD is 0.47% and my account is visible on the first page again. It meets pre-filter requirements but it looks as if I was trying to hide something, while I am not. My account is completely open (besides balance). Again, in my opinion it would be better if there was now pre-filtering. Now my DD is misleading because I play aggressively. I hope you take my opinion into consideration :)Kind regards,kurak

Hello,I'd like to request to remove pre-filtering of 'System' page, especially 'Max Drawdown'. I know my system is risky (DD 33%) but I think it is still interesting. Before you started to pre-filter the 'System' page I had had many visits and some queries about my system. Now, hardly nobody visits my system page. Why don't you let users to choose the filter instead of pre-filtering it for them (us). Or at least give a user an ability to define default filer that will be applied every time he/she vists the 'System' page.kind regards,kurak

Hi,I wish there was another chart besides "Growth" and "Balance" that is cumulative profit chart (in currency value) with linear / logarithmic scale option. Such chart would help others and me to see if profits were stable over the time.kind regards,kurak

Hi again :)I suggest this feature becasue I have trades with big difference in holding time. When I have position kept for 2 weeks and positions kept for 3 hours I can’t see on the chart the last one. Could be an option to switch between linear or logarthimic scale.regards,kurak
