Hello everyone,Just FYI - when looking at the historical trades - use the filter to hide Withdrawals and Deposits. This particular broker lists every commission fee and every rollover fee as a separate line in the balance that shows up as a withdrawal/deposit. It makes a mess of the history but it's easy to hide those with MyFXBook's filter.-Scott

Seems to be! But I have to say we've seen strategies do great for a few months and then fall apart. I'm always hopeful for the next real deal but it's getting harder and harder to retain that "hope" in this market!Scott

Live performance test of the IBT Auto signal service. In a greedy effort to give the account a small boost I started our lot size at 0.03 lots instead of the recommended 0.02 lots for a $1,000 account. I receive email notifications in a ticket system which strips out HTML, so there is no active link to click. I have to dig up an archive copy of the email in a mailbox to get the link. The option to receive email notifications in plain text would be wonderful.Or, the ability to specify a different email address for notifications/messages so I can use an email address that doesn't go into our tickets.Scott

Hey Hermes,The fact that it's manually traded (yet, it really is) adds a human intuition element that MDP doesn't have. If the swings in the market get larger, they can adjust for it. If the swings get smaller, they can adjust for it. I think the one issue that could cause the strategy to fail is if the market starts to trend more often than it ranges. August 14th, increasing LotScaling from 0.35 to 0.50 and this is the last time I'm raising it. This is a level appropriate for an aggressive $10k account. I'll plan on withdrawing profits after this point. Of course I'm a glutton for punishment so we'll wait to see if that really happens.-Scott

Increased my LotScaling setting from 0.25 to 0.35 on August 6th, which is the level appropriate for a $9,000 account. Current balance as of this post is $10,500.At this point my plan is to allow the balance to continue to increase while leaving the lot setting alone, thus slowly reducing my risk. Or I'll start withdrawing profits. I'm not sure yet. :)-Scott

Just to clarify: Phantom is not a grid trading strategy, it's a scalper, but it does have the worst risk/reward ratio "ever". Also, Nick's test appears to be trading a much higher-than-recommended lot size too. A $3k balance should be trading about 0.07 lots, not 0.12. That will affect the drawdown too.The risk/reward ratio is horrible but... we've only had 1 stop loss in 2.4 months out of 858 trades. Obviously the goal is to have a large enough stop loss that you only hit it during trends but avoid the SL hits during all of the ranging markets.Scott

Well, the vendor's account looked good so I decided to give it a shot. If it wasn't for the stupid 50:1 leverage limitation I would be in profit. My live ForexFS account that was set up with the TradeCopy.net Storm III signals on June 19th, 2012. Hi ragency,A. I'm in the USA and wanted to use a USA broker with tight spreads. That stuck me with 50:1.B. Yes I'm concerned about drawdown as anyone should be - the vendor's recommendation is to keep the lot size small so we can survive any drawdowns. Only time will tell how it works out.Scott
