This is a demo account of the software; I know for sure that it works on live as well, but I don't want to publish the old live account for reasons explained on the website.

A new live account will be published within a few weeks; if you need to see a live account statement before purchasing, please add yourself to the mailing list, so that you can receive notification once the live account is published.

I'm open to any questions in this discussion.

To be honest, I never measured the risk/reward ratio, but I would say it will be about 1:3 in the long run, as the stoploss is fixed at 11 pips (or 14 to 16 in the final version), while the average win is 5 - 6 pips.

Generally speaking, this risk/reward ratio is considered poor, but it is OK for this type of strategy (high % of winning trades) and it is the best and most stable set-up for this EA I have found.

I agree with you, if the EA continues with these result, it will be one of the best out there. But time will tell

Honestly, it won't be that ideal - there will be drawdowns, there will be losses, HOWEVER I have tested it for almost 4 years on tick-by-tick data and with real spread (not just 90% modelling quality & fixed, unrealistic spread), so this backtest matches forward test and the system is pretty stable. The website will be open in a day or two so you will be able to check yourself.

IMHO the traded lot sizes on the demo are suicidal. Once the stop loss get ignored for whatever (technical) reason the account will be in jeopardy.

You need to divide the lot size by 10. This is an MB Trading account, which means that one lot is not $100,000, but $10,000.

OK, that means you trade 40x 10.000= 400.000 on only 1:50 leverage? This would require a margin of 8000 bucks per trade ...😲

For my taste, this is still way to much on such an account size with low leverage

Yes, so there's $2000 more you can lose on the trade until you run out of margin, and the risk per trade is only $500 😉. I've been successfuly trading the same leverage live for 8 moths B-) But of course you can trade the system on lower leverage or on an account with lower required margin if you don't feel comfortable trading with this leverage.

Good luck for the future when it comes to trade REAL money...

Do you wanna know how many times I have faced situations of ignored SL from the broker side? Seven times in 8 years forex trading....

And I promise you, you will sweat blood if it happens to you with your used lot sizes on a low leverage broker

The 8 months I was talking about is real money ;-)

Come on, trading 1:50 is nothing uncommon or extreme, but as I said, if you're not comfortable trading 1:50, you can choose lower leverage.

BTW, about the stoploss, of course it does happen from time to time, that's why the software tries to place it repetitively and if it's not triggered anyways, it closes it by an orderclose command ;-) On the other hand, if your system does NOT do that, your whole account balance is threatened no matter if you trade with much lower leverage anyways.

How do you have withdrawal in the demo history?
I'm rooting for you - go live as you said so we can see real performance - under real conditions.
Surround yourself with people whose eyes light up when they see you and who have no agenda for your reform.

Hi speki, the withdrawal is there because all MB Trading demo accounts were reset at the beginning of the year. The live account was established yesterday and the EA is running there, but there were no trades yesterday. I will publish it here as well as on the website as soon as some trades are taken.
