hello mr totalrecall,
for the umpteenth time, i think that i may have finally finished this piece of work.
my system is not verified, period.
but then, who would ever bother concocting a fake negative 590% system?
my broker does not isisue investor passworrds anyways.
as i am foolish enough to think again that i might have finally finished this work, i thought it appropriate to publicly show the pain of my struggles, mein kampf.
my work is inspired by a couple of physics theories and also incorporates a quirk, of sorts, from the field of three dimensional mathematics.
it is always a pleasure to have you stop by, mr recall.

Hello zzzero,
I can't see your open trades. Perhaps they are still floating and one day it goes up to your expectation?
I'm sorry, just join FX and perhaps you can share your strategy. First few months shows negative growth and still continue?

my total deposits are $3958.32 and i have withdrawn
a total of $1374.26, net deposits are $2583.96 and
my current balance is now $133.97
my myfxbook page shows a gain of -586.15% and an
absolute gain of -61.9%
but my calculator says that $133.97 is only five
percent of $2583.96, so where does myfxbook get
their -586% and -61% numbers?
my numbers say that i am down by -95%
oh yes, again, my current balance is $133 and i have
opened a new position and expected profit is approx
$31.xx
i feel bloated, omg.

It seems you have no idea how portfolio accounting works. Do you even have a clue of how multiple deposits and withdrawals at different points in time are adjusted for in portfolio accounting ?
After multiple deposits and withdrawals, you have still blown up 4 times your initial investment of $600.
Go search Google for a new image or YouTube video for your next post !!
Duh !!

It seems you have no idea how portfolio accounting works.
quite perhaps.

perhaps not.
After multiple deposits and withdrawals, you have still blown up 4 times your initial investment of $600.
more than likely.
but, you still did not provide the precise calculation that myfxbook uses.
that is what i was looking for.
i was trying to ask if any person could provide the precise calculation that myfxbook uses.
i fail to see why that is upsetting to you.
perhaps you might take a valium.

my preference would be something more simple like this:
use a couple of basic variables, like this:
deposits-withdrawls=net on deposit
my net deposit is 2583.96
my equity is 133.97
gain=(equity/netdeposit)-1
or
gain=(133.97/2583.96)-1;
or
gain=-0.94;
i think that is right, anyways..
the above numbers seem to more accurately represent what is going on with my account.
i mean, it is impossible to lose 600% of something, imo.
for me, i want to know how much went in and where i stand in relation to that amount.
i like simple.
thank you.

regarding my losses...
i used real funds while coding and testing.
you play probabilities.
i do not play probabilities.
you use a stop loss.
i do not use a stop loss.
i am not interested in taking a loss.
you are.
your work is very nice, tho, i must say.
it will be interesting to see if it performs equally well when traded live.
good luck.
srsly.

So you play with certainty ? Then why are you consistently losing money ? 😀
Any trader who claims he/she is trading with certainty (and not based on 'perceived' probability) is delusional.

Half of your positions are closed at a loss !! Your profit factor is 0.60, which means you are losing two-thirds more on your losing positions compared to the profit on your winning positions.
Your claim that you are 'not interested in taking a loss' is nonsense. The facts (based on your track record) clearly show your strategy is failed and consistently looses.
In an ideal world, no trader is interested in taking a loss. But we all live in a real world. At least I do, and I assume you too !! 😕
