Broke 1.06 slightly, but the dollar index is still struggeling to keep on gains above 101 sa the dollar struggle with gains in CAD, GBP and JPY. But is now being fairly supported at 100.60. 101.50 next if dollar overcome EURUSD 1.06?

Retracting from levels above 113.70, likely many who will get rid of their JPY exposure while waiting on the results of the Abe-Trump talks. Open interest is -4.5%.

The smallest you can trade is 1oz. In brokers that allow 0.01 lot trading, that means 0.01 lot is 1oz. This is correct as per the friedberg direct product guide for fxcm.

The yen support is somewhat artificial due to Trumps currency manipulation and undervalued comments. Might change on Friday, don't expect Japan to end their asset buying program because Trump doesn't like it.

Le Pens lead will way heavily on this pair, likely more so than Trump. Calling for a euro exit for France. It should limit the upside as it is a major euro risk.

Facing strong downward pressure, lower investor confidence doesn't help, pair down 50 pip today. Back below 1.07 on the cards? Harkers speech later today can give dollar the necessary push, dollar index back above 100.

Eyes on next weeks Fed speak and (as always) Trump. With Fed’s Williams seeing some arguments for a March hike, this could be reaffirmed by members like Harker, Bullard and Evens boosting the chances before Yellen speaks in two weeks. Germany and France trade data can also be interesting, along with potential inflation surprises (due to higher oil prices?). With EURUSD facing resistance for 4 days (and largely for the past 10 trading days) around the early December daily highs. A range break within the next two weeks is very likely.

Strong ADP report with 80k above consensus, along with other good labor indicators. Expect strong NFP today. :)

All about the policy statement. If they see the inflation and labor conditions are still good, something that increases the chance for a rate hike in March (most likely), if the statement does not include anything like that, the dollar will likely drop some. I'm casually dollar positive

With FIX you can get execution below 10ms to platforms like LMAX (average is 3.29ms). Oandas spread is terrible compare to ECN brokers. Etc Pepperstone charge you 7.53$ a lot (and there are cheaper brokers too), EURUSD spread at 0 now. Meanwhile Oanda is at 1.5 pip. Way more costly.

Been meeting quite a lot of pullback above 115.20 levels today. Break above 115.50, or a short retreat to mid 114 levels, before retrying?

There are mac versions of both cTrader and Metatrader. You can atleast run cTrader through WINE in Linux.

Think it will stay rangebound in 1.22 - 1.24 for a while. There is strong fairly strong resistance found just above 1.24, and just below 1.22 after all. And there isn't much major stuff to push the GBP on either side coming up.

Not entirely true, most brokers will want to process your transaction before depositing it into the segregated account. Because of anti money laudering and accounting rules.
