Just wait for the bottoms and tops on 1HR and 4HR, some moves just before the open ,then around 9 ,11 ,1.30 ,3.30-3.45 then 5.30. Up or down as long as we get good reward for risk.

That can be a problem when it is your own currency, that's why you have to stick to what the data is telling you ,not your own feeling, zero emotional attachment so you can trade in any direction. It is more volatile than eur/usd ,two ways to look at that ,is it opportunity or risk.

Just had a algo spike at 6.09 ,not good trading when the algo's are out still short but ill close this trade just before 7, not often Id use a trailing stop unless I'm away from pc.

There's major support down at 88600, we got a bit of a sell off at 3.45 ish which is normal day closing of positions/profit taking ,not much though, usually followed by false buy signals, most news is euro positive so doubtful a reversal.

Nice bounce trade off the bottom, hope you guys caught it too,I got knocked out twice before that lucky I had min stop loss,in good profit ,didn't want to trade gbp as it didn't bottom first.

Rates unchanged, still positive euro bets ,some worry over the steepness of the yield curve, slight bottom at 1.148, might see a buy up to1.150 just before Draghi.

No such luck eur/usd hitting the 1.16 level yet ,still we had a nice short from 1.15795, need some juice from ECB or crap figures from the US.

I did a lot of research on different currency's but when you look at the spreads it just kills any edge, that's why I always traded eur/usd and eur/gbp ,but actually very few traded gbp when I first started, plus gbp traders tend to stay away from their own currency because of bias illusion.

Smaller time frames are fine for entry points or scalping ,lots of futures traders use these time frames for scalping,1Hr time frame has been used by institutions for a long time especially near data releases and close of day, just my 2 cents.
