The fee is $0.70 per mini lot....or $7 per standard lot. If you make 0.7 pips profit...it is breakeven. If you make 1.0 pips profit....you have made 0.3 pips net profit. Just wanted to clarify this for anyone who doesn't understand fee structures in ECN accounts. Now....this may seem bad....but condsider the avg spread I see is about 0.5 pips. It is about 30mins till open of Sydney session and my spread is avg 0.9 pips. about the worst it gets in the sydney session is 2.5....and that is during the absolute slowest time with the worst liquidity. I did a 99% tick test on my settings....in the past few months....they netted around.....+15,000 pips. Is very hard to test my setup and get an accurate assessment though.Oh yeah....today....16 trades, 2 losers (-88pips and -82pips)....ended with a net gain of +120pips. Another good day.

Also a very good point. Since the TP is less than 15pips....using anything less than tick data renders the whole test invalid.

Unfortunately, your backtest is flawed. Trying running it with a fixed lot size of 0.1 lots. This will show the number of pips won or lost throughout the testing period. In a live situation the lot sizes make the trade scenario impossible.

Well, as much as we all want to believe you statement....those could be manual trades.....and that could easily be from an institutional account......or could be entirely faked. i personally believe that it is possible, but like you have said...those systems are never sold. I have a system that i am working on coding that shows to generate 500-1500 pips every 24 hours. Heheheh...i wish! If I was I would have coded my trailing concept into the EA. As of yet, there is no EA that does exactly type of trail that the FGB needs. Plus the way FGB is coding....I don't think an EA can perform the concept properly unless fgb were to be re-coded to allow for it.Anyway...no, unfortunately I am not the owner. If i were, there would be a live account posted and the setting would regularly be readjusted to update it to the current market conditions, and anyone wanting these updates, would be paying a monthly subscription....not a huge monthly fee, but maybe...$20/month...

Ahhhh.... I see. You are referring to stock settings only. If I was to use stock settings only, then I would agree with you. FGB currently sucks if you are only allowed to use the stock settings. Well......if you go by that, then technically, manually traded systems are the same. The only one not being boxed in by this rigid logic system being bank order flow.

Hmm....FinFX times are good...avg 400ms. Still on the losing side though. MDP had some warnings against using the stop orders and hard trailing today, so I have deactivated those. Will see what happens now.

Really? I am not surprised you have this opinion though. Statistically speaking, you would be correct on pretty well every EA ever made. This one has a great deal of tweak-ability. Maybe it is just that God blesses me, and that is why my FGB is doing so well. So..just for the sake of provoking thought on the subject.... If you are wrong and the FGB is still a viable EA, then there should be others here who are making so winning trades with it. Just an fyi...the name fughe is pronounced the same as 'few'. Same phonetics as a standard 'gh' containing word with a long 'u' vowel due to the silent 'g' effectively causing a silent 'e' vowel at the end. Anway...on to more important matters....No, not trading spread. I am trading bank order flow. The data feed I am watching is the data feed that Dukascopy uses for it's liquidity. For the most part. They have another indie that can be attached to an mt4 chart that displays the order sentiment in a "MACD" looking fashion...that is the best I can describe it. Anyway....other than that....you have it correct. You MUST be on full alert to trade properly. And yes....it changes everything when you see what the banks are doing. I am using the data feed from www.orderbookfx.com to make my trade decisions. It isn't a direct EBS feed, but the results end up giving me the same information. Plus, if I ever wanted to, I can upgrade the data package to include EBS data. It is literally just watching what the banks and big institutions are doing and then placing my trades based on what they are doing.

I attempt to stay as informed as possible. I definitely do NOT know everything....but that doesn't stop me from trying! Even though I post a lot about these EAs, my main trading consists of trading via bank order flow. I trade entirely on the 1 minute chart. I like the one minute because I can easily pick up 50 trades in a day and can pull in 500 pips in a day. Plus, I am completely unaffected by market conditions that all other time frames have to deal with. The only downside is.....it is absolutely critical to be 100% alert the entire time you are trading because everything happens quick...
