Ok, I see... But it seems to me everyone is focusing on buying JPY (safety) lately. I don't believe we will go much lower, but how much longer till we go much higher is the question for me. I can hold these long's, but I would prefer to do that reasonably quick of course! :)EURUSD needs a 50% retrace, along with several other currencies... It has been a big move this week for a lot of currencies. Fun to trade.Gil

Wow, what a week!!!My new method was shaky as I added 21 pairs to it and in fast moving markets I failed to 'HANDLE' it manually. MY EA development has been delayed due to roadblocks, which is mainly my lack of programming ability.My job now is to recover USDJPY, USDCHF (not included in new technique) and then hedge & martingale my way out of several trading pairs and shut down this technique until I get my EA working. Interesting... I am buying as usdjpy goes up... We will see... :)I made a few hundred dollars on the last push up on usdjpy but got greedy again...Same with usdchf...The 'putting your investors' into red comment is funny... I guess people expect people to be perfect or they shouldn't trade other people's accounts... I have lost (temporary) millions... I am not perfect, nor ever want to be again... :) haha..I am still looking for these master traders who make comments, but never have an account to show for them... :) Wonder why that is...Gil

Yes, no hedge for me. My estimate is that it is pretty darn low, and I will just Martingale out of it if it does a big drop. Thanks for the info.Gil

Yes, same here.... :)The comments were not meant seriously to 'criticize', more about 'why not?' than anything... I think we are all a bit surprised in how few pips people can really pull from the market for any long term. When you talk big, people expect big. One thing I have learned about trading is EGO = LOSS, Hubris = LOSER....The market is the great equalizer of all external things in this world! Nothing will tell you that you are not beautiful as quickly as this line of work. :)Now, let's go get some pips!:)Gil

I was not intending to BASH you, but I thought it was a bit funny. I guess it comes from not taking myself too serious....I hope you return much stronger and better....I only have one question... If it were me, wouldn't you keep your accounts slammin down some pips to prepare your business for the onslaught of new clients as well?For me, I am building a resume..always... so maybe you aren't, but if you are, why not put your profitable accounts up online for prospective customers to get more comfortable with you?Just a thought...Gil

Due to previous entries of USDJPY (LONG) it is costing me some drawdown, about 3%. So, I am expecting to get up to an average of 1,000 drawdown which would be 25% of the current profits. However, I do believe that I will be able to hedge out of them successfully from my testing! This is fun and profitable and geared towards making more money in a fast trending market, but popping pips in a slow ranging market. :) Currently building the EA which I will freely share once I have a month or so under my belt!Gil

I have updated my strategy to be a little bit more aggressive! I have added about 12 pairs but with a smaller stop/hedge so it should offset the draw-down.I believe my daily results will be higher, but my drawdown will be consistantly higher as well. I am very aggressive with about 210.00 equity per pair, but it should be at 500.00 per pair for a safe % drawdown. I am in hopes the market trends a little bit over these next few weeks.Also, forex.com added a few pairs! GBPNZD, among others are now up for grabs which will make it fun to make more pips on the roller coaster ride of forex. :)

I wouldn't go near a grid trader with 400.00 unless you are trading nano lots or penny per pip. B3 would work great on 400.00 (NANO) with 1 pair (probably USDJPY or EURUSD or GBPUSD). Sorry to hear about your loss. Really, your money is best earned by sitting on the side lines, learning how to trade and going from there. EA's are a gamble, but I only use them because I know how to trade.If you want something where people trade for you, then there is zulutrade or tradency, but they will lose your money just as quickly as an EA.A great analogy for EA's is that they are like cars....

If you are looking for EA, then I suggest you check out the NB 60x90 thread and play around with it. I am probably 50% manual if not more at this point with this EA. I really just point it in a direction and turn it on. I will attach the 2 I am using currently, but if you look at the code, you can see it has been morphed into something it was not originally intended to become. All EA sellers pretty much have the same canned speech. If the EA is that good, why sell it? Why would you take on the hassles of 'people' and their bad talk or emotional baggage when you can just make pips? Yes, I find PA easier on futures, but just because I think I have spent more time. Rarely trading futures am I ever surprised when looking at a 50K tick or daily chart. However, on Forex, I am surprised often. :) I guess more chart time required. Thanks for the info. June was pretty good for me, July was a little slow for me. Thanks again for the info. I read on the thread for your system a while back that ATC and others are widening the spreads by like 400 pips? Or is that 40 pips on a 4 digit?400 pips or 250 or whatever is unreal?
