Well said Sharle. The reality is most people don't like backtesting, because they aren't able to reproduce the results in live. Yet, that wouldn't be an issue of backtesting. That would be an issue of the actual trader not following the rules he/she is following while backtesting. You typically see this with people who use indicators which re-paints.

I wouldn't say that we can't gain profit. As many people do. It is just our interpretation of how the market works is all wrong. Which is why profit isn't consistent.

You guys are beyond brainless. You can't compare poker to forex. Forex you can control your position the entire way. You base your positions on many many many many factors. Well in poker it is all LUCK OF THE DRAW. Pocket ACES Is the best DRAW card one can have, but if someone else has POCKER QUEENS, and a Q drops on the community. Your pocket aces are no longer in control! You are now hoping and praying for another ACE!

A link of an account would be nice to see. I don't trust words. I only want to look at charts. You can see all my trades, and how accurate they were. Not words of investors, when no one has seen stats worth investing in.

Well the reality is you invest. You aren't actually trading. You take a buy or sell and wait for it to hot your sl or tp. That involves in no skill at all. It is more like playing the lotto. I can also see you your little website isnt generating any cash. As you take part in demo contest and deposit 80 dollars to start "trading" I wish you the best of luck with your lotto trades. Maybe one day you can actually win and withdraw.

That is correct. Compounding is inspired by greed. Withdrawing is the best form of money management, as you can't risk your profit in that manner. Next week I'll start with a brand new account, looking for the same results.

Backtesing proves several important points. One of the most important would be that humans fail to be consistent. We may have a system which works great for us in back test. Yet, in live our results never translate. In almost 100% of the cases it is because we gain bais to a certain position. Which in reality abandons the system which we are back testing. Hello. I have downloaded the recommended file in order to have my stats tracked. Yet, none of my brokers appear in the box. I have at least 6 different brokers on this machine. I even went to select my broker Manuel , and nothing occurs. Could someone please help me with this issue. Thank in advance.
