Spot ON. Love your knowledge. I've experienced this disconnect myself through the years, and there is Absolutely No Logging or Proof of this happening. Brokers say its our internet connection, or our EA coding. Non sense.

Hot forex isn't true White Label for Currenex. http://www.currenex.com/about_us_white_label.htmlWith - http://www.divisacapital.com/ - You can actually see the Order book of liquidity. Until hotforex offers this plugin, I'd say they're tricking traders. http://www.divisafx.com/mt4-dom-plugin-individual.html Currenex doesn't accept 0.01 lot positions, therefore all positions under this amount are in house. At this point Pepperstone becomes a Market Maker and is exposed to Risk, hence a REASON to delay execution to offset their risk.

For Lots greater than 0.1 lot go to liquidity, Lots smaller are grouped inhouse. pepperstone should really offer two data feeds therefore larger accounts wouldn't experience the SLOW down from 1000's of MDP users with smaller accounts. Damn it should be like this at every broker

I don't think they Screen Comments or Magic Numbers, but run MDP themselves to trigger execution delay.

LOL. Really? I mentioned this as a possibility about a month back. It was more so me thinking out loud, but honestly.... I'm not surprised. Has anyone noticed how the Prices on the CHART Do not correspond with the True Market Watch Box Data? Walker36 pointed this out and sure enough, my chart lines which I use for SL/TP were not hit, but the trades were closed out.... I also tested a Spread indicator that posts the Bid and Ask price on the chart, and its not the same as the M1 candles. Little off topic.So has the NEW Pepperstone Server speed up execution besides when MDP fires a signal. ...

Ah , I came across a company promoting Managed accounts with the magicfxrobot at Activtrades.Here is their accounts - http://www.myfxbook.com/members/harkmark/super-ea-3-daily-target/168182- http://www.myfxbook.com/members/harkmark/real-moneymaker-2/163322- http://www.myfxbook.com/members/harkmark/real-moneymaker/162811Profit was never withdrawn and accounts were only traded for a few days. Maybe ActivTrades caught on. If I come across the email for the managed accounts I'll post it in here.

I do agree with some of your points, but you still have a fatal flaw in your business objective. Your EA works from arbitrage , or simplified it works from finding brokers with a slow data feed. These brokers with mediocre infrastructures are forced to use the MetaTrader Virtual Dealer Plugin for this exact reason. Without this deceptive tool (VDP) as we know it as, theses brokers would go bankrupt. Now by using the VDP, they can save themselves from arbitrage without fixing the high latency in their feed. It's just easier for the broker to operate this way. Now these brokers can still ope...

yeah it did work at Alpari for a little while - https://www.myfxbook.com/members/forexscam/magicfxrobot-scam/117290but alpari has also proven to have a delayed data feed. Hence this arbitrage strategy succeeded.

i think the channel surfer is an alright strategy that many ppl use in slow sessions. But they were hooked on the idea of running it 24/7 on eurchf. Not a smart move as there are news releases and still momentum bursts. Its just another EA that is good for 1 condition that needs monitoring.

Yes it sure is. But its pretty easy to fix. Just pull out 1 gibberish term and plot in "WhatIsThis" and compile it. and go fix the other error code.all in all. its easy but the dll string is the hard part.

I didn't decompile an EA, I only followed the open trades of a system for a few days. I was able to figure it out after plotting the entry and exit on my chart. I haven't modified the Channel Surfer to make it better , but only to reenact its trades. I guess my timing couldn't have been any worse.. Forex Verified pulled their EA off live accounts after lastweeks big move on EURCHF. It put a nice dent in their customers accounts. I'll wait and see if they can improve their version. In the mean time, I'll continue to add features to my own.
