They probably not watching all the TP changes, just that the log file was large, and you were the one that created most of the traffic.

I ran it for a day and it fixed the forever updating TP. In fact the daily log of 2 - 3 GB is now 1 KB.I had it for test purposes because I'm the one that fixed it.It could use some other clean up, but the modification I did to remove the continual updating of TP is working.Drew,It is safe to release.

Opened up a new account with the update, and the terminal uses a lot less CPU with this update.

FYI Just helped Drew with an update that will fix the negative closed trades and modifying of TP all the time. When Drew releases it to everyone something you might want to do instead of attaching the new EA to every chart is to close the terminal and then do a replace in all the chart??.chr files hopefully in one command and reopen the terminal. The chart??.chr are mixture of text and xml files.

I have been running my demos for a while, they have more negative loss than the profit it has closed. I'm hoping that will change in time as the new levels are closed. I have seen that the TP for all the trades for the same symbol are the same, thus my future confusing of why the EA is changing the TP for trades all the time. Any update on fixing that bug?

I don't agree that demo's are worthless. You do have to keep in mind that execution in demos are faster than real because most if not all the time demo are auto accepted where real have to be sent to the bank which causes additional latency which can cause slippage. The are a tool to get an idea if something will work. If it does not work in a demo, don't go live with it. But if it does work in a demo go live with a small account and build it up as time goes on for multiple reasons.

I'm a programmer and I don't understand what old data could be corrupting the strategy. If the programmer is storing things in a file or in global variables, then yes those need to be cleared.On the negative TP, I'm sure that problem is because the script is updating TP for trades it should not be ie setting the TP to the TP of trades of different symbols. I've watched it do it, and I've seen it in the logs.I'm pressed with the EA thus far, but it does need some clean up. From looking at the following log, I'd say there is a bug in the EA, unless this is by design. To me it looks like the EA is setting the take profit on trades for different symbols. Ok. One thing that would be nice to add on the Risk setting is a way to scale down, you already have a way to scale up, a quick way to allow scale down is to change the input type of Risk from int to double, or use a different equation for lot determination.

Sorry for my ignorance, but are we able to back test the EA? Back testing on EURUSD 1M the EA does nothing, back testing on EURUSD 5M I get the following error "FX Cure EA(v0.92) EURUSD,M5: invalid lots amount for FreeMarginCheck function". Broker is IBfx AU 400:1 hedging yes, risk 1, filter 3, account size $100,000.00.

Just started a new demo account and attached the EA to 28 1M charts. Excited to see what happens. Also I tried following a link to read about Tom's EA with not much success, more of what I read was about other things other than Tom's EA, where is the best place to read about Tom's EA?
