Of course I know the difference. Many of those wizards would not have been wizards had they started trading now, LOL.But overall idea to get the most of the winners stands. The key is to add to winners at certain moments. It means that trader should have no mental inhibition to do so. No fear so to speak. Not to be too careful and risk averse. Looking for new low on e/u . every day surprises here. another one from nzd pairs.

The proof Rehman is in the pudding... Your account is a proof. You are gambling that trend will reverse based simply on some s/r levels. Trends usually eat most of those levels for breakfast. Regarding patience. Great trader once told to be extremely impatient with losing trades and very patient with winning ones. You are very patient with loses hence you are not good.

Holy Crap, man you are really no good. SwingTrader was right to call you bullshit artist. I was trying to help you in the beginning were dumb enough to call me spammer and think i am promoting some broker. I see sea of red. every single trade you take goes against you and you let losers run free. You gotta go to some newbies site and keep your education up and also to learn how to cut your losses. The way you manage your trades is the best argument against your trading which you are asking form everyone.Good luck.

some crazy shit volatility. all stops to BE and let's see in the evening how things turn. from +6.5% floating back to 3%.

Entry is very important to have what i say safe position. My current positions suck. Original were perfect. decided to move stops to BE now. too long at those levels might give some reaction. if does it is better to get stopped at BE and then look for better entries. BTW, have you read Market Wizards? Practically all of them but few added to winning trades. I have read somewhere that adding to winners make choppier curve but makes considerably bigger returns. I have got some idea how to add to winners but obviously it is safer to do it in the beginning of the trend. Currently I doubt I can add...

I think it is mostly details. Can be always arranged as per investor's risk tolerance but there must be some reasonable levels to make all this worth while. I am still in adjusting mode. It might be instead of 1% per 100-150 pips entry original position can be 0.5% risk and then pyramiding if trend develops. What however I am strongly against is partly taken profits. I think pyramiding is very important to make outstanding returns. I am waiting for strong trends as since July when I started trading this style there was only one. Hello, Swing Trader. I have checked, you are very good indeed! a bit conservative but man, you doing well. I would definitely cut my size had I thought I trade big size. Last round I pyramided. but every time I added position i was also moving stop to cut the risk. Me closing trades was not because of my size, but because I got scared i could lose all this floating profits and I was in -16% DD. opened few new trades and left one limit order for gbp/aud. a couple of new trades the rest is reopening along the trend. seems like good moment. closed platform will check after the market close.

ok, the closure of my positions was a mistake. Too much watching charts and listening to what is going on. since now on, once trades opened I close platform and reopen to check once at the end of the day and check up if any new trades are coming up. most of small losses that I had by early closing were not losses. Just overreaction because trades were in red in the beginning which might happen. Those small losses ate up at my balance considerably.

Yes, I agree. was heavy. I was pyramiding. Pyramiding I believe is a key towards big returns.I also always was cutting risk while adding posiitons. Never had full 2-4% risk on each trade but slightly more than 1% even with more than 1 position opened. I am not sure I want to take partial profits as I do not take partial losses. If ranging period is long it won't pay for losses. it also did not move far enough. I am waiting now. if things tern well I might reenter. considering how many times my floating profit vanished and I only was taking losses I think it was ok to take money this time....

Decided to close all trades due to coming Greece voting news and NZD news causing move more than 200 pips against my position was a trigger. i have been up to 22% in unrealized profit which started to shrink again and due to DD could not let it turn into $0 again. so, closed. Now, will be watching for opportunities to enter existing trends. I know there was no trigger to close trades but strategically I needed to bring money back into coffers. The less I have the harder to trade. Now will be looking for new entries.
I want only a safe 4% each month... Which EA?? Thank you
