If its taking 2-3 sec for your broker to receive orders, thats a pretty long time. You can do a ping test to determine the time it takes. Also, alot of brokers offer VPS. My broker (Traders Way) offers a good, basic VPS package at $20 a month; but if you maintain a balance of $1000, its free. 😄

I got the same stupid request. Didn't bother to waste my time responding. panpan123: If you want the EA, do what the rest of us did. Plop down $300 and get it yourself.

To husar2003: You can email sphantom and request their customized version which will allow you to set your own stop loss.On a small $100 acct, you can set risk at 10%, and it will trade .01 lot; 20% will trade .02 lot, etc. The risk setting is not a percentage of risk to the account, but a lot size determiner. You can also set the lot size by putting in the size you want to trade in the "fixed lot size" parameter, and change "use fixed lot" to "true".

To R3DWING: I've been having the same problem. Happened again last night. Closes trades, then almost immediately opens a new one for 2-3 sec, then closes. I emailed the vendor, who suggested I reboot mt4; but still happening.Vendor: any other suggestions?

To the Vendor: I have read all the posts on this and other sites in regards to your EA. It would probably be more widely accepted if you had some type of trial period/refund policy. Such a policy is an indication of the confidence you have in your system. If your EA is as profitable as some of the users claim, whether or not it is a copier or a true EA is a mute issue. But most people are not going to plunk down $300 for a system that has only been running for 4 months without some type of trial period/refund policy in place. Just my opinion.

I stopped this system on August 4, and requested a refund through Paypal. This EA is a low winner, and definitely not as advertised. The refund request was denied by Paypal, even though it was made several weeks before the sellers 60 day limit. I then emailed the seller directly for a refund. Of course, no response. BUYER BEWARE!! I will keep this system up for awhile, for all to see. Their "60 day, no questions asked" guarantee is absolutely worthless!! I have reactivated it where it left off. A whopping $2.91 profit! LOL!!

Hi Pedro. Yes, I started about two weeks ago, but I'm moving the ea to EURUSD. I did close positions, but had a very small loss of investment capitol. Will be restarting in a few days. (Going on vacation). GPS Robot has been a good trader, but doesn't trade much. I've sent an email to them to see if I need to make adjustments. I will be setting up a new myfxbook page shortly. 😀

Whew! What a ride. Went to bed shortly after posting the above, and woke up at 5AM to find my little basket had gone to minus $150. After checking chart, seems it was as high as -$170 during the night!! Luckly, it has retraced back down; and I'm sitting on minus $75.84. It was tough not to close a few loosing positions manually. Glad I left it alone. With no other news from the UK, I don't see the GBP price being supported enough to justify 1.55 or higher. Come on back down, baby!!

April 26, 2013: What a ride! My basket of trades by Toms EA took a small turn for the worse with the increase in GBD. 300 pip increase in 2 days! So I sit on quite a negative basket! $-93.26. Nothing else to do at this point but hang in there and hope the price retraces back down!! Whew! Good news is-- that's almost all profit. $2.40 is actual capitol. I tried to offset some of the negatives with trades of my own, in larger lot sizes, going long. Did make a small profit.

Been testing alot of EA's this past year. Most were junk, or worked for a month or two, then bit the dust. But these two were of the best performers on several demo accts, from several different brokers. If they perform as well together as they did seperatly, I'll consider putting them on a live acct. This demo acct is set up the exact same way I set up starter live accounts. Same deposit, same leverage. Only difference is live accts use VPN.

Funny. when I see a system like "Toms EA crash", and the leverage is 1:500, it's like, "Gee--I wonder why!?!" Here's some tips on running this EA succesfully: The minimum funding for this EA is $750. Thats in the manual. Although leverage is not discussed in the manual, I don't know why anyone would leverage 1:500. Seriously? Also, the acct must be a MICRO acct. trading 0.01 lots. If your going to spend the time studying an EA, set it up on demo, as though setting it up on real, and use the same broker that your real acct is on, as this EA will act different...

This is the second demo acct. this EA has about blown. NO WAY would I use this with default settings on a live acct. Running this EA on 2 more demos. #1 is "Forex Hero-tweaked", with more conservative settings. #2 is "Forex Hero Split Charts". Although the publisher advises not to run it this way, so far it hasen't done too bad. One chart is set to "Only Long", the other to "Only Short". GBPUSD M15.

Well, live and learn. This acct started as a small $200 to test Forex Hero. In one fell swoop, it lost $67. Obviously, that EA is history. So----after a little replenishment, I put 2 of my more trusted bots on. FGB is a trending bot, and FSLR is a scalper. I feel ALOT more comfortable. 😀 Will be relocating to VPS shortly.
