For what should my system need a time out function??

I dont say that it needs, i just try to learn and was wondering because as far i understand from you is that your ea is protected for sudden fast price against your position that result in fast growing open loss that may cause margin call like my marty EA overcame.

I understand that basket profit is the key word, but as far as i know is that basket profit does not prevent this always. When i look at your chart i don't see any loss taken at your balance graph, this is only possible when price retraces in time so marty can overcome open loss and stay closing positions in overall profit.

Even when your other 3 pairs are winning (compensating), and your most important pair (i saw this is the GBP/USD) comes in free fall against your position, i am wondering if your basket profit can still reach target to close in profit, also because marty function is not 'unlimited'.

pc8multifx: As an add on to my previous post, if your EA hedges i could understand better that it always prevent large dd and is protected for margin call. Does your EA hedge ? P.s. Your EA's average holding time is great.

If u have done your homework there will be no danger zone, neither it has to handle floating loss. These are problems of non adaptive martys.. Take a close look at the holding time for the trades... basket profit is the key word

In what way is your EA 'adaptive' ?

Jesus...crash and burn.
Im trying to sort out the trade history to see where this went horribly wrong but theres just a lot of inconsistencies in the trade lots, the take profits...and its just all over the place.

What was your original tp? 10 pips = $1?
