what is missing is to have the EA published on different accounts (at least on demo accounts) 1 per pairto see how each pair performs alone.also this help the customer to see some month of activity on a new release before getting the new version.the customer should be tester for an EA...

no, the EA just don't open trades any new pairs if there is already a trade in progress.like currently eurgbp is active, so don't expect trades in eurusd... this Is how a martingale system make the account surviving longer periods :)which is bad, because maybe other currencies may generate profit while the eurgbp batch is in trouble... having all the pairs at the same time with lower lot size could produce better results... don't know.

no, the ea now supports some retry when a close trade command is executed.but the current batches will not be closed, there is no force close.you can close the batch manually if you want or wait that the EA detect a new close signal and close the batch for you.

at least, the MT4 logs must be scanned to identify why the trades were not closed.if its not an ECN account, the broker may cancel the order if there is too many slippage.so change the slippage parameter of the orderclose command.I'm using this:https://github.com/keyguy/TradersTech/there is an orderclosereliable function which works perfectly for any broker...

no, I still don't trust them.but we'll see how the result will be compared to what's really occurred.does the EA will handle the 30% DD as we saw in the real life? and what will be the calculated DD by MT4? (remember, mt4 calculate it when a trade is closed, which was the case during this big buy batch)its a great test to see the difference between the back test and the real life...

they don't close them???wow.certainly due to the very low volatility.there is no demands accepting your orders...I can see no move for minutes for multiple currencies in the past days.will you publish new back tests based on your updated version?

finally the trades has been closed... -60% so the idea of closing the trades by batch to not get a 30% DD doesn't works. and instead of loosing 30%... about 70% to 80% lost.or does the account got a margin call?but no so bad, the account has 88% profit in 3 months!so if the next 3 months are following the same pattern, we can expect an additional 100% profit...

NEVER trust any MT4 back test DD.the DD is calculated ONLY when a trade is closed and you till have trades opened.MT4 don't calculates the floating DD.check the MT4 published statement here:http://statements.forexpeacearmy.com/blue_monkey_real/statement_new.htmthe DD is more than 50% but MT4 calculates a DD of 9.9% only!!!you see the difference? 50% versus 10%?so a back test with 57% of DD means what? 250% of real DD... so a margin call?its also why a lot of persons are surprised to see that a martingale system kill their accounts so quickly... because the back test provides false expectat...

no, I check it for now to see how the EA really works before getting a decision.a 50% DD while supposed to be limited to 30%... what's the next surprise? :)I'll certainly get Rev Trader Pro which appear to be safer... or dinamix pro (low stop loss, but no enough history)

the market was closed for this broker. check the forexpeacearmy published account. the information is updated every 30min, yesterday the open trades doesn't got any change and any move because the broker was closed.but yes... the DD is higher than 30%, no more trade closed.I hope the up trend will not be too big... else we'll see the same DD for a batch of sell trades soon...Christmas vacations is never a good time to trade.

its correct, we understand this.but if the signal continues to go in the wrong direction... you just make the lost worst and worst... instead of accepting a "small" 30% you can have more than 30% of lost at the end...well...like we said in forex, the exit is more difficult to find than the entry point :)

thanks.could be a good strategy... but sometimes its better to accept the loss and restart correctly instead of waiting a long long time to see the signal going up... without any buy profit for days or weeks.
