Hi, I was wondering if there are any other links to real money live accounts as a reference?Also, I was reading ack in the forum that the developer had a real money live account set up but cannot see it. The link back then does not work anymore.Any info?Thanks

Elovv,Below is the email I have received in response to my query. I did exactly as stated in the second part and it worked fine.1) I have removed the EA from all charts.2) I have closed all my MT4s3) I have run the updater4) I have restarted the MT4s one by one, added EA on the charts and it was fineNow showing both Authenticated and activated.

Yes and no :-)I trade UK spreadbetting which means my broker quotes in £ x pip. That means that 0.10 for me is a microlot although TOMs EA describes it as a minilot (the EA actually states "mini account detected")Therefore is working fine for me but it does not mean it will work fine on standard forex accounts.

Ivan, thank you for replying. I do however think your did not understand the question as the advice given is incorrect.The "activated" must be showing on the charts or the EA will not enter any new trades!I have now resolved the issue with an email to support (thanks). If, however, anyone else is showing "authenticated" but NOT "activated", be aware the EA will not enter any new trades.If anyone is interested I can post here the email from support which resolved the issue.Thanks

Ivan (and everyone else :-))I have succesfully (??) and easely updated 4 MT4s on v1.89 and they all seem to be running fine with smileys etc.However, I have noticed that 3 accounts show "Authenticated – activated", the "activated" part is a new addition, while the 4th account (a live one) only shows "authenticated". The "activated" part is missing.The only difference between the 4th account and all others is that it does not yet have any open trades in (is a new account)Can you confirm is all ok or if there is anything I should do.Thanks

It sounds like you might have a file missing: UninstLog2.log This is a simple text file which lists the directories of your MT4s installations, possibly to aid uninstalling of the EA.I am not an IT master but, have you opened your Toms EA directory to check that the file is there? If not, no harm in trying something on Sunday as support will be closed; I will PM you my copy of the file, open it in notepad and change the details of the installation directories by typing your own in (it will have mine in it) and save it in your Toms EA directory. I see how that might be a problem....Did you close all MT4 instances? To make absolutely sure I went to the processes list and found one MT4 process still running although I did close all of them.If you have more than one installed, you should probably update one, close it and update the other one (during each update, all instances should be closed). If it gives you error messages, maybe try to open and close each MT4 a couple of times (I did it twice each)I have noticed in the past that if you have an MT4 process running (even if it appears that all MT4s are closed) you receive a .dll error f...

Well,that was the easiest update I have done on an EA so far! I just closed all the MT4 platforms, restarted one and clicked to update the EA. Restarted again and updated.Repetead the process for the 4 I have running and they were all updated!I would also like to thank Ivan for the recent participation in both forums. I believe you can run Tom's EA on multiple accounts as long as it is under the same email address and possibly the same PC (or VPS) I am running it on 2 live and 1 demo, all on the same VPS. Depending on the broker, you can have multiple accounts with the same broker (I can have up to 5 with mine).Similarly to drsong, I found that I should be ok with a minimum of £4k account size with the way I trade. I have started with 5k, reached 7.3k and split the account in two £4k (added £700). I am now running 2 live 4k with the same broker rather than 1 x 8k account. Should (or wh...

Craneliu,I think you have misunderstood.My MT4s were not frozen, unresponding or else. They were completely not running ie. all turned off, thereby hinting at a hardware issue rather then EA/Software/broker.Cant think of anything else. Anyway, I think I am happy to think it was VPS or memory size related, changing VPS provider, increasing memory and will see what happens.This will be a good test to see how Tom's copes with such problems, expecially on my Demo where all pairs are running @ RL3

On EURJPY....After further examination, it seems I also have a recently developed problem with EURJPY DD on one of my accounts.My Demo is indeed in huge DD. I attach a screenshot of the EURJPY open trades.It would appear that it only opened 1 x 0.4 position (rather than the usual 3) before jumping into 1.3 and multipling up from that.This behaviour did not occurr in my two live accounts.The balance (not equity) of this demo is £ 17,600 (up 76%) with a current open trades DD of £6,470. As you can see in the screenshot, £5,152 of that comes from EURJPY alone!! That makes over 3...
