Damon, the main reason to show the broker is then it allows people to see if an account is using a reputable broker. In this case here. This account is definitely 100% not an Exness account, so why is he asking people to open Exness accounts?If his account was visible this would be a very obvious red flag.

I think it's called a "loss leader" in today's market. You do something for free for someone to prove your abilities and then they willingly pay for it once you start charging.

I always class that as denial. Yes backtests can be poor indicators of an EA's performance in some cases. My bet is your backtest wipes the account so you decide to ignore it.The best systems are the systems that backtest well, forward test well and trade well.Of course your investors are satisfied with your system, it's martingale based and will have steady returns while you use this.They will be satisfied right up until the point that the martingale staking fails and they lose loads of money, then they will all be unsatisified.

I'm sure this must have been suggested previously.However a search didn't turn anything up. I'd like the ability to apply a custom filter to show only long or only short positions.I know I can see the separate results for longs and shorts in some areas anyway, however I'd like the ability to use some of the other features. Such as hourly and daily analysis against each direction as well.

You have to admit there are quite a few flags gone up for this one.Not trading your own EA on a live account just about sums up your confidence in your own product.

I always take a look at new EA's coming onto the market.I've just finished looking at this new "Pips 4 Idiots" and I noticed several things that I wanted to make people aware of.I have posted comments on his page but I doubt they will be published.1) Grand Capital ( the broker in one of the statements ) is Russian and has no English translation of their website. Does Joe Simpson, an obvious Brit, speak Russian? Wow.2) On the screen where he shows us his "live" account with his transactions there is no doubt this is a live account. However, is it his? Okay, the statement you are showing is a statement from the arbitrage EA that Artem was working.He has since stopped working on it as he was not getting good results with it after the date he stopped on this statement ( 28/9/2010 ).Is your EA the same as the one Artem was working on?Is it an improved version of it?

Thanks for that Speki.I've just noticed Artem Larin's name as one of the statements that Sergey provided and I actually know Artem Larin so I am having a conversation with him about this.I do know that Artem Larin was working on an arbitrage EA project
