Yes, DEMO account trading is a must. First, trade in a DEMO Account at least for 1 to 2 years before switching to REAL account. If you are consistently making profit in a DEMO account for at least 3 to 6 months, then you can switch to a REAL cent account or micro account and take it further from there. DEMO account helps to learn the basics and the MT4 terminal usage etc.

The robot sometimes automatically changes the timeframe which extracts the values for trade entries and so the number of trades can significantly vary between accounts. The REAL account performance was excellent this week.

This week performance was overall very good in all most all real accounts and demo accounts. We have got around 30% profit in our real account this week.

Yesterday, the DEMO account also placed many trades. The robot sometimes automatically changes the timeframe which extracts the values for trade entries and so the number of trades can significantly vary between accounts. The REAL account performance was excellent this week. Simultaneously we are testing it with multiple real accounts with the same broker to see how much difference in results are happening.

It was just due to low volatility in the market this DEMO account was not trading in last few days. But today both REAL and DEMO accounts have given quite a good number of trades as well as profit. Also, we are testing with other broker LIVE accounts and so far overall good, but not sure how it will go further.

Well, I have tried both MT4 and MT5 thoroughly for last 5 to 6 years and so I can give a much better explanation about advantages and disadvantages.Originally, obviously I started with MT4 only and I still continue and prefer to use MT4 over MT5 after using for 15 years or more. I will not call forex as gambling from my point of view, but it might be called as gambling based on understanding of forex market by the regular retail traders. Due to some reason our DEMO account is not placing any trades since last coupe of days, but the this LIVE account is placing a couple of trades once in a while. It may be due to very low volatile markets or due to some other reason. We will continue to monitor the accounts to see if we can figure out the reasons if possible.

The honest and clear answer is NO. You can't depend on anyone or even any system, EA or MAM/PAMM or signal service etc to make a passive monthly income as usually it is advertised by the forex brokers or service providers.All such systems or services ultimately make money for the system developer or service providers while wiping out the balance of the retail trader now or later. As expected this REAL Account is performing better than our main DEMO account performance recently.Probably, due to the past losses the EA is taking only highly accurate trades in the DEMO account. I can say that 5% per month is okay and good if it can be achieved long term without high drawdowns. Yes, choosing the correct broker is the most important thing to be successful in forex.I have seen some good brokers for last 10 to 12 years in the field of forex surviving till now.
