Very sad day, I chose to close all my EURCHF positions since it does not seem as if the Swiss bank will let the Franc go below 1.20...If it does go down, I'll be pissed! 30 days of trading lost...

Dangerous for US customers due to low leverage. Other than that, they offer a VPS that is pretty reliable and spreads are good, even for unusual pairs like AUDNZD. But for user using Blessing EA is not good due to leverage.

I've had Skydesks for 4 months now. It has been up the whole time without glitches. Uploading files can be tricky until you have a folder on your desktop named "skydesks" to make it easier. Customer service has been great. The only thing I will say is that it seems slow but that could be just the interface between the user and server and not necessarily skydesks server-to-broker's server...since I never had a missed trade. The window configuration is also tricky not easy to tame so far as in resizing it to use my whole monitor, it seems glitchy and cuts the bottom part a...

No, I've done a lot of testing of 1.3 but not live yet...to be honest I don't care for EV at all. I find it extremely hard to tame...but it will get better with time.

Blade is a B3 user from the forum, he came up with this set file and then Ratz tweaked it, but I like his better. Look it up there somewhere. It is distinctive for the white lettering used instead of blue. This is the same setup I use in my other accounts, just much lower lot sizes due to lower leverage. I shoot for 7% monthly here.

The best thing to do is look at the wiki, then set files for EV and see what kind of risk, diversification you want for your account. Every account is different because of margin requirements, leverage and balance, so It is up to you. I prefer eurusd and gbpusd and the rest I keep B3. EV will evolve to have better hedging schemes and I can't wait to get my hands on that to test the new features.

I don't see myself losing on AUDNZD, but maybe not making as much due to the spread which is closer to 8. GoMarket's is 4.9 average.Still, a cent won is a cent won regardless of spread...not much I can do with US accounts...

Yes I do, these AUDNZD and EURGBP files are fresh but need testing. I cannot release/share them until they are deemed ready.But, you will notice that autolot just scared the hell out of me. Very unpredictable stuff even though I had backtested them with $1K and 0.1 lots! I could have lost all my money today since margin was down to 230%! Still could...reducing the lot size to adjust for autolot seems ridiculous, because the set file will make lots less. So my advice for autolot files...watch out! And even with TBW you can still have two files stuck with autolots eating your margin as I fou...

Today 17 May 2011 I have transitioned this GoMarkets account to SkyDesks and changed from Blessing3 to Evolution. Because GoMarkets does allow hedging I will try my best to set this up as a "Trade both ways" setup with some available pairs.If you have no clue what this is all about google: "Talon LLC Evolution" (or "BlessingEA") and read. I do not use portionPC, all my setting are at 100% BUT the key is this: 1) Lower the amount of pairs! To say 4/5. Any more and you run the risk of getting them stuck and having more than one stuck in the wrong direction.2) Have ONE pair that runs hot** and the rest at very low and predictable lots: i.e: 0.01/0.02.3) The one that runs hot needs to pass backtests with less than 40%DD and pass every year. If it passes with 0.3 lots, lower it down to 0.2.4) Look at market news schedule daily and predict hours of volatility--reduce lots during those times.5) Never ever have less than 400% margin....

Sure, the idea is that there is ONE pair with high lots which can squeze my backtests, and all other pairs only contribute in a way that they will certainly pass any backtest. I.e EURUSD with 0.3 and $9K. EURUSD has a 100% win so far! So only AUDNZD can make me go broke, but it pases my backtests with 0.7 lots and $9K...so the chances are reduced.Any pair with 3 trades forces all the other pairs into shutdown, to free up margin and prevent two pairs from being stuck, and most pairs have another pair that does the opposite.Anyhow, I'm trying the strategy for now and see how long it takes ...
