Thanks for the info much appreciated. Yes makes sense to avoid aud and nzd or at least trade with lower risk as less liquidity in market and therefore high risk of higher slippage. I have the f version they sent me also to trial on FXPro, I thought it was f to indicate was for fixed spread accounts. I will upload on my pepperstone demo and see if it works okay. I have speech, scalper, trend and high risk settings (are those the 4 settings you speak of? I am learning more about news trading I am posting my findings in the thread for that system. Feel free to contribute any knowledge you are finding. Could you implement some sort of trailing SL with a BE trigger to lock in some of the gains I see on the Sells for EURAUD and GBPAUD 30 odd and 17 odd pips? I see other trades only went up slightly before turning around so probably couldn't have been saved... good luck

thanks Plexy:) I think your comments list is set to private not public? Can you please change as would be useful to see how both session trader EA and High Low are doing for you. I own both have been demoing Candle High Low (on M15 - no good will try on the Daily next), the Session trader is doing good, but I think the pip distance for pending orders needs to be a little bigger than 1 pip, as it can just hit and turn around fairly easily so changed to 3 for the moment, to hopefully reduce losses. I am demoing the news trading EA also on the same account but the session trader ones I have ...

Lessons Learnt News Trading.1/ Be wary of news releases where there are multiple releases of data for the same country at the same time. GBP example industrial vs manufacturing data release (one good and one bad - causes whipsaw). This can trigger trades in both directions even with a OCO setting as the movements are so fast that the pending orders fail to get deleted due to server busy. Can make money in both directions but more likely that the server will be busy when trying to close orders so make loses in both directions. Run on demo for these releases to keep monitoring impact but do...

did it catch the initial 2000 pip drop on NZDUSD? I found a fault in my straddling News trader EA it opened pending on AUDUSD instead of NZDUSD it would have made a killing otherwise. Waiting on a fix.

thanks for that mate. I will fund my pepperstone and give it a go. I have a news trading EA to try. Do you avoid news when there is more than one set of data on the same currency being released i.e. one can be positive and one negative and you get a whipsaw effect all in the space of millisecond hitting your SLs? I have started to notice it's better when just one major set of data being released. i.e.. earlier today the GBP news positive industrial but poor manufacturing data (up and down very quickly) trigger pending orders both directions etc.

Looks interesting I wonder how it would work on a real account with slippage especially during news events... I have been using a great EA on news events for demo but doesn't work well in real due to slippage...
