It is unfortunate that you think that I directed my comments at you personally, since I cannot remember mentioning you personally. I never defended, nor did I accuse FXChoice or anyone in this contest of anything. I merely stated the fact that everyone is taking this DEMO CONTEST far too serious. Wow, again I fear everyone is misunderstanding the actions/intensions of this broker (FXChoice). Personally, from what I read and understand from the statement from FXChoice, is that the "contest is on hold".... and will be "restarted" (or continued seems more like the correct word) on Monday the 30th of March). I agree fully with your comments, however, the winners of these contests are always huge gamblers in terms of risk/reward. These contests are not meant to be taken seriously. Trading like you would trade on your real account will NEVER win you any of these contests. Good on you Rahman, spoken like a well-disciplined trader.... I personally think the key to being a successful trader is to have a strong emphasis on trading discipline with solid risk/money management. In reality, what is done in these contests can ONLY be done here, and I challenge ANYONE to try do this over a period of 12 months on a live account and produce these kinds of results.... anyone who says he/she can do is talking BS! 😄

You are missing the point my friend.... I already have a reputable broker (live accounts with them since 2010) whom I trust with my personal details. I have NO desire to submit my personal details to an unknown broker Just for the sake of a DEMO contest, so I decided a week BEFORE the contest that I will not take part. I think, and this is my personal view based on my own experiences, that your biggest problem is the emotional roller-coaster you go on when trading with your own money. The fear and doubt in yourself causes you to trade with stops that are too tight (fear of loosing money) and take profit levels that are too close (fear of giving profits back). On an account that size, given your level of experience, I would ONLY trade 1 position at a time with a lot size not exceeding 0.03, and carefully plan my entry with technical analysis so I will have a 1:3 Risk/Reward ratio, where 1 is my Stop distance ...

Gentlemen (Mirweis and Nakedbike), you both are taking this competition way too seriously.
