Was originally told it was the standard EA with Risk = 0.5.Then was told it was a 4 Strategy EA that was modified to a 3 Strategy EA.Then was told it was manually stopped and started to avoid news.Then was told it was run with Risk = 0.4 and Aggressive - True.Seems to vary as time moves on.Bottom line is the sold EA is not the comp winning EA.OK sure they may have added in the news filter and that may be reducing the number of trades.BUT what seems clear is they do not have a Live account running the released EA for any real period.We can't judge what to expect now as the comp winning EA i...

Likewise.I did ask now much Live trading time there is on the recoded / rewritten 3 Strategy SOLD EA?No answer.Also asked what Strategy each of the 4 Strategies in the Comp EA were assigned to?No answer.It would truly amaze me that anyone would sell the comp winning EA.Is worth a lot more than selling a few hundred copies of the real thing.

The only differences between the EURUSD and GBPUSD set files for the extended version are:Strategy 2 & 3 are set to false for GBPUSDRisk is set on Strategy 1 to 0.3 for GBPUSDThere are no other differences!Likewise the only difference between the EURUSD and EURUSD_Aggressive set file is Aggressive = True for the Aggressive version.

Was told by support that the contest EA had 4 Strategies which were recoded down to 3 for the sold product.Support has admitted the contest was run with Aggressive = True.How have 7 demo accounts and one live account.Have altered all to Risk = 0.4 (contest Risk) and Aggressive = True.

Strategy 3 seems to have a bug it that it can open trades on different brokers in different directions.Has anyone else seen this?Please review the attached spreadsheet.

FSE Seems to be very broker dependent.I run 5 demos and 1 small live account.Each has different trades and even different directions.

Forex Sensation Extended running EURUSD and GBPUSD.FxOpen has the tightest spreads and lowest commission I know of.Seems to work well with Forex Sensation Extended.

Happens if the price falls away and the EA has started the Trailing Stop process and it thinks the price may fall further. So it protected you from a loss.

Was told they run FSE on EURUSD and GBPUSD, all default settings including Aggressive = False.So one EURUSD chart with FSE, default non Aggressive EURUSD set file and one GBPUSD chart with FSE, default GBPUSD set file.

As far as I know this is a grid trader / martingdale style EA.May have increasingly larger orders open for a long time.Good luck.

It matter not what MT4 says.If you don't have tick data with real spreads, the backtest is BS.Tickstory say their tick data spreads are fixed, so doing a backtest is a waste of time.Your need:1) Tick data with real spreads2) Back tester capable of using tick data with real spreads.As far as I know only Brit's Tick Data Suite is capable of making MT4 do backtests using real spreads.But then you need to get real tick data with real spreads for your broker of choice.Many tick data sources do not deliver real spreads and like tickstory which use fixed spreads, which is a waste of time.

In my testing I exercise all 4 FS/E modes.Yes I did say 4 modes:Mode 1) Strategy 1Mode 2) Strategy 2Mode 3) Strategy 3, Aggressive = FalseMode 4) Strategy 3, Aggressive = TrueHowever you can not get all 4 modes to run in one EA.You need 2 EAs:1st EA = modes 1, 2, 3.2nd EA = mode 4.Comments?

Active close management:FS and FSE apply an active close management.While both SL and TP are set for every trade, it is rare for a trade to close at either SL or TP due to active close management.Observe the order Mods that follow just about each Open to see both SL and TP being actively managed.Very visible in this backtest.http://forexsensation.com/statements/2011-2013_eurusd.htmI like what I see.Yes I have seen this active close management in real time and by looking at the Expert and Journal logs.

Something to understand about FS and FSE.While traded lot size is directly proportional to:1) Equity2) RiskLeverage changes have almost no effect on traded Lot size.It seems 100 Leverage is assumed.Running higher Leverage does not increase Lot size.Have tried everything from 100 to 1,000.As long as the Equity and Risk are constant, varying Leverage has almost no effect on traded lot size.
