Well, yes but brokers outside of the US won't accept US customers because they are afraid of persecution from the US government, I can't say I blame them. IBFX and FXDD has developed a way to accommodate for FIFO and hedging which they call a back office solution. It doesn't work for every type of fifo/hedging problem but I understand that it does work for some trading systems. The better solution is to open an offshore IBC (International Business Corporation) and use it to open your trading accounts. It is perfectly legal to open an IBC no matter what your citizenship. I can just feel the love here.. We had been discussing the forex as a high risk environment (gambling) but we also discussed how it is also the safest environment for those that want safety. The only problem is risk and profits go hand in hand. It appears that the best way to optimize our portfolio is to have some accounts that use high risk/high reward strategies but to also have others that are low risk. Since we wanted a system that we could use in our retirement, we focused on safety. But as safe as we could make it, we still diversify every chance we get. No, the problem is that US trader are being forced to use US brokers and the government controls what the brokers can do. The best thing for me is to go off shore myself and trade from there.
