In theory, the market noise (to be read as big guys :)) will tend to trigger s/l close to the market price, BUT many experience scalpers are using exactly so tight stops when market allows and they enters on the market for similar targets.
what pairs do you dislike most ?

Why some FX pairs should be disliked? :) I would say better to monitor few pairs and to select for trend trading and for choppy trading. For example pairs like GBP/NZD, USD/TRY and etc. are trending - then apply systems for trading in trend. Other like EUR/CHF tend to range more often and then range trading strategies would be applicable with higher rate of success :)

MetaQuotes is a Cyprus based Forex trading software company. They are creating trading platforms, gateways and some back office solutions, but they are not broker :)

My 5 cents :)* Spread - good to be tight, but this is not so important as execution. With other words even if you have narrow spread, but execution is bad and always with slippage, then the spread you see does not worth nothing!* Scalping - is not more risky than long term trading, just requires proper mental attitude. The trades are lasting seconds, or minutes, but in the EOD you do not have open positions and you do not have market risk transferring overnight (what about major news came out, earthquake in zone of the currencies traded, flooding, unusual events came out ... etc.) :)

Basically, if the new values are similar to previously expected, the market should not react strongly or at least reaction would be weak. This is related to all news, not just for a PMI. Better values - in general should support the national currency releasing the event, but this should not be taken as a constant as well.

EUR/USD - Higher lows and lower highs before the ECBs press conference... The tendency is still up (4H and Daily), but as a good moment to vise-versa for a deeper correction :)

For the similar reasons many new started business are also announcing the bankruptcy: Luck of: experience, clear vision, knowledge, sufficient funds and etc. No place for wondering - I believe.

Sideway market could be profitable either on short term (minutes) time frames or long term trades (daily +) :)

Most binary options brokers are not regulated, easy may open account and fund it, very difficult to withdrawal your profits from them. No regulation or controlling authority and no protection of clients funds.Bottom line: as mlawson71 and many others recommend - stay away from binary brokers at all.
