I use Tallinex with decent results using the EA directly, but have moved to the Signal Copier Doug makes available. I recommend using the SIgnal Copier which allows Doug to keep an eye on News to stop trading when deemed less safe to run the EA.

Makes complete sense to me. Markets go through periods of volatility/instability before returning to more predictable patterns. Vortex has encountered these before, and Doug has created a system with enough buffer to survive "most" of them keeping a safe risk/reward ratio with his high % of winning trades.If any one loss and DD period gives someone heart burn then they are running too high a risk. The old adage rings true: Trading is a Marathon, not a sprint. I personally am running 0.25 lots per $10K. I have more than one EA on my account and this level of risk/return fits appro...

Yes.. all of us should set to false. We want all trades from the copier and that market status check could disable incoming signals from the client side.Doug, checked the manual and did not see this outlined. Seems worthwhile to add.

Hi All,Had to share my experience with MFM4. I started running it on a demo account for about 3 months, staring 2015, where my trades matched the MYFXBook trades, if not better at times.Starting the month of April I moved to a live account, and continue to get the same trades, if not better, than the MYFXBook published trades.It really does a great job in detecting ranging/quiet states to capture profit. James, If that market check filter setting is on, I would turn it off. Doug's side will deliver the trade if the market is open, so we do not need any market check filters.-Scott

My Demo on Tallinex is doing the same trades as the Vendor. Doug, Can you have the Support group check for my email (

... maybe you do all your own support.. ;-) ). Here is the guts of the email:"If I start with a lot size of 2.0, and say a week later after a couple of trades I change to 0.5 lot, one of the open trades with default magic number 578937 stays with the lot size of 2.0, where the other trade opened with magic number 582328 follows the new config.I also noticed the 578937 magic number trade get the comment, where 582328 just puts a 0."Thanks.

Still going strong here with my demo account. A little more than a month in and trades regularly profitable, and closely resemble the live account of the vendor....been getting slightly better trades actually. And not martingale.....like the other system you had issues with.

Hello Alexander,May I ask for a little guidance on recommended lot sizes.Say my account is $10k USD.If I were to aim for approx 10% growth and trade the 3 main pairs AUDNZD, GBPUSD, USDCAD, to the best of your knowledge, what would your recommended starting lot size be for each?I see the documentation has the standard risk starting lot size for $10K as AUDNZD = 0.10, GBPUSD = 0.04, USDCAD = 0.20.Can you give a sense as to what the "standard risk" DD would be historically and the expected growth from this risk?Thanks, todompoll
