Lower risk setting. As described, the funnel trader risk in relation to general settings to balance is about 2x. At that time I was running 1.5x. So 14% compared to my 11% DD relates directly to my risk/lot size vs balance. 14 * 0.75 [1.5/2.0] = 10.5, which is about my 11%.

There is no gap, and no error... just look at the history. The trades during that window were open for several weeks as it worked through the drawdown period. Everything there is accurate. Please do not make assertions until you review everything. You will virtually the same activity in the published Funnel Trader account.

Yeah... at 3% a month it is slow and steady, but lends to predictability and smooth growth. Less heartburn compared to other systems. As you say, usually DD is under control, with occasional moments of extra DD, and in your case, a little extra deposit needed. It is a good plan if you can watch closely and deposit money if needed. Since it trades in a basket, anyone large pair move seems to be sufficiently absorbed by the other 4 pairs to keep DD low enough.

Nope....again, working backwards from the 100k config, where the start lot is 0.04....leaving a $25K account, with start lot of 0.01 at the 1x level: A 3K account in relation to the standard settings, with start lot of 0.01 is already by default at the ~8x level. An account of ~6k, with start lot of 0.01 is already by default at the ~4x level. Yes, but within reason. Starting from the 100K settings I have a spreadsheet to adjust the lot size depending on the account size, and a multiplier value. Minus the Max Lot value, the lot size growth is the same for each progression. The 3K to 30K (when at 25K balance), 50K, and 100K, the lot risk vs balance is the same. So the config for the 3K to 30K has a start lot of 0.01. When the balance is 25K, you have the same risk as the 50K config, again, minus the max lot. With a balance of $12.5K we are essentially running at twice the risk as a $25K balance, since is the same config. In looking...

Hi All,A quick chime in about Funnel Trader.I bar none feel Funnel Trader is one of the most stable EAs available. I have been running this product since the early days of it being released.On live accounts I can fully confirm closely matched trades to the live published results made available by the EA creator Lance. The vendor added to the offering to accept the signals as they are on his account, to remove the variable of many different Broker feeds, that at times did not match his account.I started with the EA directly using Tallinex, where my trades were good, and largely matched the vendor (Doug), but decided to move to the Signal to ensure stability and have Doug disable when he feels news or other scenarios do not seem favorable for trades.So the current myfxbook account trades are what everyone can get when using the Signals, which have still been quite good..... just use good money mgt in case of ...

I started up MFM5 version over the weekend and had great trades last night with Tallinex. Several excellent TP hit for some nice pips.I am using the auto downloaded settings....I am not changing the default settings at all. Would expect others should do the same.

I did hit those SLs and things did not seems as stable as I would like, so decided to wait for news from the vendor before proceeding further. Nice to see the MFM5 updates and better performance. Seems like it is back to its normal self with v5. Will wait for that to begin trading again.

Good find. Seems to have much better performance than V4. Guess the Vendor is testing it out now.As you say Jared.. hope there is some upgrade path to V5, with some reasonable upgrade cost, as I have stopped trading V4 for the time being until some news about upgrades come out.
